Yay! healthy baby...it will be this week Sunny. 19th. You'll go into labour on the Friday...

Mr Happs was with me through all three locusts....poor bastard...some of the funniest most loving moments of my life...and that includes on the 3rd round when the nurse and Mr Happs decided to LESSEN the gas...I did my best stage whisper to Mr Happs and said, tell that bitch to turn the bloody gas back up NOW...ahhh...good times...

I too like your thoughts Frog...you should walk more often. Except about soup. Cant come at chicken soup made from one of me girls. Update....Gingers bum now trimmed...she is fed on a stool, sitting above the other chickens...while I stroke her and talk to her...nice clean talk you understand...

Hello Undies, from the cheap seats.

Not sure who the women are you talked about, TF, but unfortunately I believe judgement tends to be a human trait. I often wonder about it as my husband is very judgmental by nature and I have to constantly remind him about casting stones. As he ages, he is realizing it and working on it.

As far as the women's movement and where it is? There simply does not seem to be a Sisterhood anymore. I agree and it saddens me. Although, at the time, early 70s, I often wondered why anger against men seemed to be such a focus point to rally us women. I loved the idea of women standing together to make our voices and our add to our individual strengths. I did not like the man bashing at all.

When I was working in a technical capacity, it always amazed me how well I was respected and treated by my male clients, I seldom ran into the chauvinist male, but I was often given a very difficult time by the women I worked with.

Although, there were the lovely times when I worked with some wonderful women who appreciated having another technical woman working elbow to elbow with them. Those are friendships I still have today. :-)

      Sorry to go off.

My main focus of posting today, though, is Sunny's journey. Those last few weeks of pregnancy seem to last forever. It always amazes me how tightly the babes have to stay wrapped up in the womb due to space constraints.

I am looking forward to hearing we have a new little being in this world to welcome and I am happy the reports are healthy baby ready to come at us.

Hi, Happs, Bridge, G and all other Undies.

      Love,
      Cindi

Hiya Cindi - lovely to see you in the drawer. Men-bashing is and never was on the agenda for me. The nicest men I know are feminists.

Evening all and great to hear from you Lilly!

Mini skirt and long boots at your 70's party? Wow!

          Great to see you Cindi.

Many folks throb the larger arse, whilst getting off the couch and moving, especially jogging backwards, will tone up the buttock region for that popular firmer style. Fat, Skinny, tall, short, doesn't matter. It's what you got inside that counts.

Right. Orf to streamer twirling practice down the park.

Nice to see you posting Cindi, I hope you and your family are keeping well? Not getting out of Undies means losing touch with other threads and peoples lives, my excuse is I am pushing it to keep up with one thread and its probably a bad excuse. Anyway I love to see you post here.

I think its my Earth Hour too...getting up early to fit some more things in that didnt get done today...Noight Undies....Mr G - dont catch cold down the park twirling your stuff...

FINALLY I get some connections on here - sheesh!!!

Yes yes Mojo, got your pm ok, sorry darl but fucking puter issues driving me insane. Will PM you soon.

Nothing important to say here, have really enjoyed reading back today for some reason, more so than previously, maybe something to do with the hour spent flat on my back in the shaggin wagon listening to the MWO hypno cd's. They are roolly cool.
FIL arrived today ,after burning all of our hay accidentally at the other farm ,buggerit. Thousands of dollars of fodder lost. Insurance won't cover deiliberately lit fires - he was trying to prepare the paddock for oat planting. Sigh.
His redemption was bringing masses of bakery pies to be used feeding Young Denis the human tapeworm. Oh & the husband of course. Food being produced bulk now to cater for bloke appetites & long hours in the paddock. Upside : me gets to have early nights reading. YAY

Sunny, that is such good news you having healthy bubby. Maybe he/she is going to be an Olympic diver, being head to toes in the pike position? Steer him/her to golf or tennis though, they pay better.

Tomorrow is another day Rhett & Scarlett, so I'll leave you all to snooze away the evening & MAYBE my connection will allow me to get back on tomoz!!!
                Take care everyone.Goodnight.

                      Morning Undies!

Thinking of you heaps today Sunny!! I laughed at the "turn, baby turn" comment that Reg made the other day, but seriously sending out all my best wishes and prayers for you and bub over the next few weeks.

Lilly - feel free to snuggle into the drawer more often

Cindi - I love it when you pop in and you always have something interesting to say. I agree with TF - man-bashing was never on my agenda either. There were some silly things that went on in the 70s and 80s (I have vivid - and horrendous - memories of a discussion about whether boys should be allowed into the creche at a women's studies conference that I attended in 1981 ) but mostly they were distractions from the real agenda. And I feel really happy that my neices and their daughters have infinitely wider choices about how they live their lives than my mother and her mother before her. I'm doing a project at the moment about women in non-traditional occupations, and it is such a joy to talk to those women and their colleagues about their experiences!!

Corrie - wow - you sound so phlegmatic about a few thousand dollars worth of feed going up in smoke!!

Right - me orf to be B&I again today. But at some stage I am going to sneak out and head off to Bunnings. Mr B and I are really sick of the constancy of having washing on the clothes horse in our living area. For the next 6 months nothing will dry properly, so we have hatched a new plan - jeans, towels and other heavy items will go into a seperate laundry basket. They wil be washed on Friday night and deposited in the dryers at the laundrette on Saturday morning, where they can tumble away while we do our supermarket shopping.

right - better get on with things - have a good day everyone

                        Morning Doodyheads,

Well, just back from the 'Women with style' awards. It was an emotional night. Miranda Kerr took top honours, and whilst thouroughly deserved, i can't fathom why Dame Liz Murdoch, or Nicola Roxon didn't get a guernsey. Sharing a table flanked by Elle, Simone Warne/Callaghan, and Liz Hurley sure made up for any dissapointments, and ensured an interesting evening.

Hi Missy. Your project sounds real interesting alright. I bet the women love sharing their stories?

Sorry to hear about yer hay Cozza, AND your innernet connection/puter woes. I suppose Dennis brings a smile though......

Mojo, so what's your AF celebration again? I've a memory like a siv. 4mths ish? Whatever it is, great stuff friend.

Jones, how are you going there?

Wishing all a safe, sober, and magical happy day.

Still missing Raggsey, anyone heard from her?

Other than that not much to report. My sister is dropping in to see me - first time she's going to see the house, go figure. So I am being dazzling and baking bread. Was going to do brownies but shes always on a diet...might do them anyway though...waffling through...

Morning Undies ... this is such an exciting time for the drawer dwellers. Can't wait for today's Sunny news.

I'm really really enjoying the early morning walk thing. A change in routine completely lifts your day.
