    Good woman!

Let's not give it any oxygen.

Got any nice snacks in your drawer, Nicey?

Nah Tawny, no nice snacks unfortunately.

I've just loaded rice cakes (which you have never had) with strawberry jam and had a cup of tea in the hope the craving for something better will dissipate......... Had soup for lunch and just feel like a bit of something really yummy... It's kinda like witching hour for me around this time. Just want to stuff my face with yumminess!!!

Hope your ***sproing*** in the sunshine made your heart glad!!!

Actually Tawny, I HAVE got a recipe for a pie I make that EVERYONE raves about. I'm gonna share it with you all....

I call it Midnight Pie because that's around the time I used to make it, and my kids would come out of their rooms bleary eyed yelling about the noise of the mixer!!!

        Watch this space......

        Now I'm cheered!!!!

        Nicey

Rags, Sorry to hear about your friends situation. It is lovely to help as much as you can because it does make a huge difference.
Thanks Sunny. Appreciate your (and all the other Undies') kind thoughts.
I'm typing out the 2 recipes for tomorrow for them and going to laminate them and put them on a keyring. That way they can get damp and the ink won't run, and we can add recipes to the keyring. The first ones are Pumkin soup and Zucchini and pasta bake, as the kids can do variations. Next week I think I'll do stir fry chicken and veggie noodle stir fry. The kids would have to enjoy doing that I think, and there are sooo many variations.

Happs, Bridge. Being mothers of teeny children (pun intended) any other recipe offerings? They do have to be fairly simple though.

The little chappy is really scrutinising his world isn't he... or were the lights a bit bright for his very very newly opened eyes?

Yep, trying to make a long story short and forgot to add that I had paid with debit card!

Oh!! I got the same message on my phone....suffice to say I sought advice before responding!!! Nah, I kinda knew that one was phony (pardon the pun....lol)

The sun streams in my office window during the afternoon and makes me sleepy......bring on home o'clock!!!

I'll be checking in a bit later-er to see if I need to defend the fences ....

            Smiling at you all!!!!

            Nicey
We have a debit card with about $800 on it (which I think is the lowest you can get these days) especially for internet use ... not that I do... refer to my tale of the great Tasmanian spurtle transaction :H

My work desk used to be by a western window... lovely....

                        How old are they again?

I think it's a bit dangerous for young kids when you think of the hot fat/balance thing.

OK. I just found an old 'Menu' that I asked the boys to out together ages ago.

***Make sure they use those plastic holders that you hang on the side of the pot and then just lift out rather than draining boiling water.

More than anything I'd turn it into a kitchen safety and methodology lesson.

Raggs, what TF is going to happen to these kids when their mother goes??
Has it been discussed?? Does everyone know their roles and where to go to get help?

ANd we'd be wearing flowing white peasant dresses, and our hair would be streaming out behind us, and the afternoon sun would be glinting of our bike, and we would be riding through long grass (how do they even do that)

I KNOW! And we'd look HOT!

Oh well ... after I rescued said dough and punched the stuffing out of it, I went for my delayed walk.

Even though we're approaching winter, we still need to remember to watch out for the snake in the grass.

So I just finished my read back from the day, as now with the wee one I immediately have to divert my attention for his needs, lots of feeding going on and that is taking priority. All I have to say is WOW. I like Rags response, but really no response is necessary. The thing is in life situations you never really know the story unless you are a part of it, and even then, you only really know your side of the story and no one elses, and your side is biased because it is your interpretation. Anyways, carry on. Nuff said. NIcey, love your posts.

Love all the chook pictures ladies. Even though I will most likely will never eat one again it is fun to watch all your marvelous creations. Hubs packed the fridge with healthy fruit and veg upon return home, so we are having lots of salads, juicing, and of course chocolate.
