Nah just kind of warmed it through on a very low setting. Ended up caramelising banana and hiding it underneath on base of pie so as not to ruin scrumdidlyumptious look of top, then resmoothed etc when it came out.

In essence I think this is a banana cream pie without the cream on top, our American friends can correct me if I'm wrong. Crust was lovely and it was easy. Had show off photos of my golden eggs etc but thought best keep this brief.

And you didn't have to pay $12.99 a kilo for them. :H
