The purple is the outside "skin " of the soft coral. Usually it is open and the purple lies flat underneath and you don't see it

Marvellous day today. Some unscheduled and unexpected networking going on at today's forum, where there were social work sheila's a plenty and dominating the days play through sheer weight of numbers, understandably. Hard to get a word in at times. But then during the break, i find myself baled up by workers from other services wanting to pick me brains on stuff. Was unexpected, noice, and really cool.

Then later at bi-monthly health and safety committee meeting for our organisation, i found meself sitting at head of this serious boardroom table, looking down table at the others. What i found amusing was that various managers and executives (plus a few of us humble workers), would focus on me when explaining a point, or look to me for a nod of approval throughout our meeting. This was i'm sure an unconcious focus, but i had a chuckle to myself as folk would unwittingly defer to the head of the table. Maybe it was my hair. Follow me on twitter for regular updates.
