Ricotta report - separated fine with ordinary vinegar. I heated on stove to 74C. It's now draining and I'll use the resultant whey in today's bread.

I used 600ml milk. Makes bugger all, certainly not enough for a lasagne for man and hungry locusts (IMHO). Texture looks right.Comment

*** FINAL CHEESE REPORT ***
Decided the only thing I could do with my little pile was to add some garlic, chili, spring onion, a beaten egg, s&p and bake the little sucker. Ended up with a 3"x3"x1" piece of very tasty stuff, lovely on baguette toasties.
Although I enjoyed the experiment - would I do it again? - no, don't think so.

Sorry, was off this morning for a photo shoot of the belly down at the beach where we got married. It is the most beautiful day for it here. Then we were both starving so we went to grab a quick lunch. I wanted to walk down the street to get mine but hubs said just pick a place along where we already were. Funny thing is I did, and my food ended up taking 40 minutes because the grill broke. It would have been faster for me to go get food down the street from the place I wanted to. I had a laugh about it, but hubs was super grumpy and din't think it was at all funny or ironic. He's now taking a nap like a grumpy little 2 year old.
Look at all you kitchen queens, I am envious but not enough to go do anything in the kitchen! I will just admire all your lovely creations.
