Morning Undies, one locust sick and ALL in trouble. No one wakes up and thinks "right, I'm going to yell at my kids for 10 minutes this morning coz they didnt do something I have repeatedly asked them to do and now its gone to shit"..do they?? I know I didnt this morning but thats how it turned out...grrrrr....I might start over...get back into bed and do it again minus two embuggerances...

Other than that shall walk and work and cook something.

Morning Undies!

I've just been to a very nice morning tea for all the people in our building. There are 9 floors and about 20 organsiations, most of whom are small social services/volunteer groups. Somebody took the initiative to get us all together to do a fundraiser for fair-trade week - so we had fair-trade cofffee and tea, fair-trade bananas and fair trade chocolate. I think the fair-trade brand needs a more balanced diet :H

TF - I am in awe of you! And all you walkers! I am finding it hard to get time to exercise at the moment, but tomorrow is another day.

Happy - you do that because that is what great mums do. I know it sucks for you, but I reckon that one of our greatest developmetal tasks is learning about consequences. I'm in awe of you too.

And today, I'm also in awe of Mr B who has been dealing with an incredibly difficult situation with his ex, that has been going on for the last couple of weeks. I haven't mentioned it before now, because it has all been so difficult. However, he has dealt with it with dignity and common sense and lots of thought for his kids and how they with deal with something that their mum has done that it pretty reprehensible (but which they dont know about yet). Today is a d-day of sorts for her, and we are waiting to find out what is going to happen. It also happens to be our annniversary. It feels like quite a momentous day.

Hello Undies,
Back again…. Went to Sydney last Friday, then B&I on Saturday, then Sunday had Buddhas birthday celebration, which is why the moon has been so big and bright, then yesterday B&I again. So just catching up on the last 4 days.

Happs those mushrooms looked great. I bet the whole box is bursting with them now.
Send the python down to me… mine has gone away for the winter, and Mr Rags bagged 2 rats in the kitchen on Friday night after we came home from Sydney.
It wasn't a pleasant day. Mr Rags had S.O.L. all day and visiting his dad didn't help.
But, we went to Customs House and saw Peter Elfes photos of Lake Eyre, and Alexia Sinclair's absolutely brilliant photographs so heavily photoshopped.
Part of the Head on photo festival, in which my friend up the road has been a semi finalist twice. He didn't enter this year as he said he couldn't handle bein a semi finalist three years running.

The cheese and egg and chilli flan looks good Tawn. Lot of effort though isn’t it.
I went to a cheesemaking day up at Coffs a couple of years ago as some of you will recall. Came home and made some and the lot was off. The whole lot somehow got contaminated. I’ll give it another whirl though when I’m not quite so B&I.

Seen in local Woolies at 7:50 last night. A daggy looking Mum with 2 kids in tow (a boy about 11 and a girl about 9) all in jammies and ugg boots. Didn’t have my phone with me else I’d have taken a pic. Wonder if they do that in Rose Bay?
