Righto, off to do all the doable stuff, back soon. Seriously, do I need to wash her bum?

She, or the others will prolly attend to things. I've never washed mine but it's ok to do if it really offends you.

OK - did my wark a little earlier today in what seemed like a balmy 11C. Disturbed some bunnies and a small mob of roos. Noice. If I keep this caper up for a fortnight, I'll invest in a pair of runners. I think the Blunnies are slowing me down.

Hope Bridge and Mr.G are still enjoying Hawaii. Should be ok - don't think there's any bins to be put out or lawns to mow.

            Catch youse at lunch.

                Morning all.
Missy, I googled said show and will see if it is available to watch. I don't think they show it here on basic telly. It's New Zealands version of the Real World which is an extremely popular show in America on MTV. So popular they have done 26 series with 26 different groups of young people the last 20 years.

I've got my 36 week doctors appointment even though I am almost 37 weeks. I feel like the blueberry girl in Willy Wonka, almost ready to pop. I want to see that Johnny Depp movie Dark Shadows. I really love Tim Burton. Edward Scissorhands was great back in the day! We'll see though! See yous a bit later. Have a lovely Friday!

MB, what book are you buying?

                    Happy Friday one and all!!!

My cat needs her bum trimmed. Couple of mishaps this week so I'll have to do a bit of a trim. She'll LOVE that...NOT. Anyone offering to help out????

Speaking of movies, I watched The Descendants on DVD last night. Read the book whilst on holiday in Fiji in March. The book was way better, funnier, story line deeper. I was a little disappointed in the eye candy on movie - George was looking a wee bit how's your father IMHO. AND he has chicken legs.....ewwww. FTR (for the record) I'm not a Johnny Depp fan, oh 'cept for Chocolat.....mmmmm.

Also bought War Horse for my favourite honey as a wee surprise. I saw it during the Christmas hols with my daughter but I know he was keen to see it but missed out.

So I'll be off for my walk this arvo then dinner in my belly then flip flop on the lounge for a lazy, cozy Friday night...... FH (favourite honey) will be doing v.little as he is nursing a hangover!!!! Ha!!! Don't miss those 'fun' nights or the aftermath.

                    Happy almost Mother's Day sunnybump!!!!

                    As ever, Nicey. :h
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

Hiya Sunny & Nicey ***waving to Ruby ***

                      Hmmm ... pity about George's pins ...

After a most productive morning and a yummy lunch, I'm declaring an early Pink Dress POETS day.

(Red Arse-end-of-Rat (gravy beef) curry, basmati, raita, mango chutney and the proverbial.) The great curry secret is that you gotta make it the day before .... but I bet y'all knew that anyway ...

Back from doctors. We were a the hospital for 4 hours. Saw the midwife, had my blood taken, had a fetal heartbeat monitor, saw another doctor, saw another doctor, did a scan, saw the doctor. Even hubs went and got an xray he needed. So baby is breach and spine to spine. So have a external procedure to help turn the baby booked for Wednesday. In the meantime, am headed out the door to do acupuncture as it might help baby turn as well. Didn't make the movie, maybe this weekend. Wish me luck. Don't really want a C-Section but will go with the flow.

                        Lunch looks good TF.
Nicey, agreed about George in the Descendants movie!

Hiya Tips - see you're having the day off. Good man. Tips - I've just been reading about biltong and found a supplier in Melbourne. I had a Saffa mate who used to rave about it but as he's since popped his clogs I need to know - what do you actually do with the stuff? I get the impression that you just eat it like a snack? Like meat chips?

It is a snack indeed, Froglet. If its beef biltong, it should ideally be thinly sliced and still moist. It's also absolutely delicious on freshly baked bread with lots of butter. You can use it in salads too (sounds strange, but works well, especially when combined with avo).

Go ahead and get some - I'm sure the cats will love it too.

You do realise that winter is the ideal time to make your own biltong? The weather in your part of the world should be ideal for it. I can provide you with my grandfather's spice mix recipe if you'd like.

You just need a large-ish vessel of enamel or plastic, a few good cuts of beef, some vinegar and said spices for the pickling / curing mix, and some paper clips so hang the pieces of biltong out to dry.
