    Happy Monday everyone!!

    Isn't 'our' little Bump just beautiful.....just beautiful. Huge sigh......

    Cori - you're a better gal than I. Once, I had the opportunity of saving my marriage and keeping my family together by taking part in saving the family farm. Moving to a TINY country town where his family had been for generations. I KNEW I'd never make it for more than 2.5 days! I would have ended up a bigger boozer than I already turned out to be. In fact I think would have ended up leaving there in a box. Obviously you're a strong, capable person! Keep close to the Undies, they are a big part of my life now even though I can't post all the time I'm always checking in on my 'friends'.

    Gosh, you lot cooked up some chookies didn't ya all!!! Looked good enough to eat too...

    I spent yesty making soups and dessert pies. Nothing like cooking up a storm and having plenty in the freezer for a rainy day. I'm not clever enough to do "can up the chookie clacker" stuff I'm afraid.

    Have a fab week and I'll be popping in to check on you all later!

      I'll take the disqualification from the chookage cannage (or is that carnage hee hee) like the true competitor (stamps feet !!) :upset: LOL

      Really B&I things to do today (Not) just a day full of meetings..how the fleck are you supposed to get work done!

              Not sure. Sometimes our lives are headed in a different direction and we just have to go with it at the time to get the full experience of what's waiting for us.

                Mr G, you're a special special man, and I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart!

                I know I have been self focused the last few months with pregnancy and all, and now with bub here. Just a stage in my life at the moment and I am sorry if have not been more present for others. I still think of each one of us here often in moments in my day as everyone I have contact with here is special to me in some way. Just want you to know I am thinking of you, and wish you only the best. Don't be a stranger!:h:l

                      Hubs suggested I should go swimming Friday morning, so I went for a 40 minute swim at the pool, which felt wonderful. Then did a massive shop at the grocery store. I told hubs I would go with him to Brissy for his back check up, as long as we went to Starbucks after. We also had a date planned for this weekend as we knew babys birth was approaching. His original due date was June 4th, but we had a C Section booked for the 29th, so not long. Anyways, as soon as hubs appointment finished I told I was just going to the bathroom and then we could head to Starbucks. As soon as the bathroom door closed behind me my water hit the floor. I was not really sure though as it was all to soon. So hubs comes into the ladies restroom and escorts me to the car, where I take a few stops as water is still coming. Luckily there was a towel in the car and I placed it between my legs. Hubs told me to call our hospital at home and I ordered him to go to Starbucks. I said I was not about to miss out on my drink. So we go to Starbucks and he goes away to get me my drink and I call our hospital which is 70 minutes away. I told them we would be there in over and hour. They informed me I would go to a local hospital and get checked out NOW! On a side note our antenatal classes had informed us that labor would take hours and hours to establish itself in first time moms, and that we should not rush and think something is happening. The chance of everything happening really fast is extremely small for first time moms. That being said while hubs is still getting my drink contractions start and immediately become regular. He gets back in the car, and we drive straight to the local recommended hospital. I don't have any of my bags with me, nothing. I am walking through this Brisbane street up to the hospital with a towel stopping every 2 minutes to breathe, people were looking at me like I was a nutbag. So we go in, get hooked up to check babys heartbeat, and make sure he is happy, and have a look at my contractions. My water broke at 1:15pm to 1:30, and it is now 2:45pm. The doctor tells me that my contractions are really happening fast. Uhm YES, I KNOW I said. So they immediately went to work getting me prepped for a c section as baby was letting it be known he was going to make his own entrance very soon if not. I was half way though labor by the time I was in the operating room. He was born at 4:15pm at Maters hospital in Brisbane. It was so fast an unexpected, there was no time for any other way once baby decided he wanted to meet us. I would have told you all sooner but our phones were close to dead and hubs had to drive home and back to Brisbane to get everything. We have now been transferred close to home in a country style hospital where I am the only mother in the maternity ward at the moment. We are going home tomorrow to get settled in. All I can say is this is the most amazing experience of my life. I didn't really kick in til today that I am a mom to the most beautiful being I have ever laid eyes on. He has captivated my heart. Not sure haps picked a good picture but I will post one soon. Life has absolutely changed for me, and all of you wonderful people have been a part of this blessed positive change.
