    i want everyone who comes into this thread know that.. here we don't JUDGE and i would like to say this to any lurker's out there ....come in all are welcome
    WE ARE HERE FOR THE SAME REASON .. TO LEARN HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT ""ALCOHOL""...AND THE CHANGES WE NEED IN LIFE AND THAT MEANS TO TALK ABOUT WHAT WE ARE GOING THUR ,IN LIFE AND SOMETIMES WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE PAST.. BUT TO LOOK AT IT AND LEARN FROM IT
    so just do your best and handle what life give you sober ,taking small steps ..anyway you can and that's all you can do at times ..and remember we are here for one another..
    so lets do this together and Move forward living life on life's terms ...
    so lets be thankful and count our blessing ..put the past behind us and learn from our mistakes and this pray helps me.. when i feel down and things aren't going as well as i would want them to go ok just kidding here the one but i do have to say god at times

    WELL i want to say one more thing.... i really wasnt sure if i wanted to keep this thread going...
    after all the shit and folks leaving ... but there one thing thats keep me reposting this theard month after month is the folks that have found their way out and the people all that are here to have help just one or many thats the only reason .. i want to keep it going .. so lets do this together ..WHO'S IN AND LETS MAKE THIS A SAFE PLACE TO COME AND LET DO WHATS YOU NEED TO CHANGE ... WITH OUT JUDGEMENT FROM OTHER ...

        Hey all--

        Fen-- wanted you to know- I actually had read a similar suggestion on migraine in a column called Peoples Pharmacy. I tried it once. I wish it had worked. I actually think I understand the science behind it. Migraines can be caused by a narrowing or opening of the blood vessels in the brain. This is why topamax is a good migraine prevention drug for some-- it works on those veins long term as an anti seizure drug ( does a ton of other stuff too though I really have not found that it makes me feel less like drinking or more stable in mood or have less appetite though others certainly do). I also use these abortive drugs which only work to constrict veins just like when you get a cold headache. Sometimes they can stop the headaches flat-- but they can drive that BP up even higher than the severe pain does so I have to be careful with them. People who have baseline high BP are not supposed to take them-- the neuro does not think that I have high blood pressure-- he thinks mine is a symptom of having a headache 5 days a week but at this point it is chicken and egg. Sorry to go on-- I really do not want any one to say that I am going on about my problems, that is the last thing I need-- I am scared to say much at all any more.

        Sun-- so terrific about that puppy!! They looked so cute in the pics!

        Rog-- hope you are hanging in there and that May is a better month for you or at least a start of new good things.

        Mama-- been singing Tom all day long.,went to the gym today and forgot no one could hear the iPod so the senior citizen lady got to hear American Girl sung at the top of my lungs.

        Doctors appt tomorrow. Mark complaining about having to pick up Luke at school so I can go. Oh well-- he gets to sleep past 6 a. M. While I get up so I think it is a fair trade off.

          ATL - great to see you. So sorry about your headache. And, please, NEVER think that you are going on about your problems. We want to hear about you. :l
          You made me laugh about singing at the top of your lungs. Did you get the senior citizen up & dancing? :H
          Good luck at the Doctor appointment. I hope it goes well. Sometimes it can just be frustrating I have found.

            Hi there - in from work - I drive maybe 1/2 a mile on the interstate depending on which way I come home from work - and as I pulled on to it - AAAGGGHHHH - a solid traffic jam due to road construction they are doing at night!!! It took me 20 mins to do my measley 1/2 a mile. I could have walked it backwards faster!!! Oh well - I am home now.

            I am happy you started the May thread my dear Rog - we are still here!! ATL - I did laugh at the picture in my head of you singing forgetting about the ipod !! How funny - what is your voice like? LOL

            Nora - glad your Abbie is doing okay - gosh, your vet is expensive!! Abbie will be back to normal tomorrow.....

            Jan - hope you are doing okay. Fen - you too - I am curious - what was it that the two of you thought about the site today that was odd? PM me - I am curious now!!

            Off to wander the site then get to bed. Day off tomorrow and for once - NO appointments of any sort!!

              Oh Sun - I think it cost so much because of all the extra stuff. The spay was $75.00 but with everything else, it added up quickly.

                My voice is clearly not as good as my sons! I was doing this interval training on the treadmill raising and lowering the speed and incline and the senior by me who was plodding at 2 mph God bless her said "dear, slow down". Of course, the singing iced it, I was nuts in her eyes.

                The appt is at one of the doctors that has found cancer before-- it's the OB GYN. So I am always nervous with that. But then I have detected no problems, this is just routine. I just worry I guess.

                I promised myself I would work out at least 5 days this week. Maybe that is a little ambitious given the headache levels and amount of sleep I have not been getting. It's Marian devotion week at school )catholic school and I am on one of the committees that supports that so I have some activities to do with that-- can't believe school is almost out!

                Maybe one of you that has my email can fill me in-- was there another rip it of which I am unaware on the forums this past week? I have seen some cryptic postings and techies post, one by wilflowrts, something by sujo in meds. Please fill me in -- maybe Fen if you can if you know-- if there is something more I may have to depart-- I am not sure I can take it!

                          Yep-- scrawny is a perfect word for him MB! Today is my weigh in day and I am not happy at all-- what a wasted week-- not sure what happened and I am tired as all get out too -- guess a 44 year old metabolism happened-- hubs is still sleeping-- told me he would take care of several of Lukes activities and homework-- hmm-- realistically he will pick Luke up and I will take him tO karate -- almost late as mark will take Luke to some candy store and they won't get home until 15 minutes before class which he will conveniently "forget" is at the time I tell him 4 times today then I will rush to fix supper and do his homework and practice piano after karate though I don't know how to play the piano (but guess who had 13 years of lessons?) -- can you tell I want to go back to bed --ha!! I am being a beast!

                              Morning jan and ATL - well, an uneventful night with katie and I took her out this morning and she 'went' ! We had an accident yesterday when hubs was here and I was at work but otherwise she has been very good. She thinks the puppy pads are toys to play with and drag around the house!

                              Sorry you are both tired - can't decide if I am or not - LOL

                              Lots of rain forecast for today - again. No gardening for me. Maybe I will catch up on my pile of ironing.
