Hey ATL. Wow - that must have been some cold remedy you took. What a horrible feeling. I don't know if they make Contact anymore. But, I took that and it made my throat close up. It was awful. I'm lucky it wasn't more severe than it was or I would have ended up in the hospital.

Hi there Hoping - yes, I got a new puppy - there are some pics a few pages back - I got a Sheltie called Katie and I think she is going to be a Master Gardener judging by the way she is 'helping' me in the garden! That is so sweet that a lady wanted a headstone for her cat that died - aawww. I had no idea what happened to KTAB either....... I did see a post from techie saying he was going out into the Big Wide world though.....

Hey Jan - well, $40 less is better than a kick in the rear isn't it? Glad that Rubes is enjoying her new puppy - now only hope she doesn't trip over it....... talking of you and Rog and bed - Katie has learned how to take a running jump at the bed and get up on it! I sleep through it but Hubs said when he got home last night - there she was, sound asleep on his side - LOL. Daisy has bad back legs and can't jump up, but Miss katie can!!

Hi there Nora dear - hope the half a tab of Nal works for you. I started on all my supps today plus the L-Glut. I have high hopes that I can get all this under control again. Tonight won't be a problem - I am doing a clopen so will have one Guinness and get to bed. Tomorrow will be the test - I open so will be home by 4.00. S o will try by best to keep my intake down. I just need to listen to what my body is telling me. Why do you have to stop the Nal before your tests next week?

I need to check out a couple of threads then am heading for bed.

And Good Morning !! yes, time to get up! Love doing a clopen - actually I don't mind it really - as long as I can get the sleep down just right - which I did - I woke up before the alarm and feel fine! Was pleased with myself last night - taking the supps must be working or something 'cos I got in from work and poured a Guinness and had that, then poured a second - and then tipped it out - just didn't want it!! Was smiling to myself when I tipped it out!! back later,

Hello again. Mama Bear, it's nice that you have a day off and congratulations on 7 days of not drinking. I have to work Monday to Saturday. I would really like to have a day off during the week but I can't. Sunshinedaisies, you did good on pouring out the Guiness. I only had two glasses of wine last night so I guess I did good. Your pup sounds cute. Our JRT is called Lady. She isn't allowed in the bedroom because she snores and passes gas when she sleeps. I was looking around the different threads and I see that most of you post on the Dos Gatos thread. I saw Rubywillow there too even though I haven't seen her here for a few days. She was very kind and welcomed me when I first joined. What is Nal? Now I have to get back to work.

Busy, busy at work. Nothing exciting going on here. Forgot to tell you that we went out to El Torito for dinner last night with Casey. Had a nice time. As we were leaving there was a cut out character of a mariachi. Casey wanted to take my picture. :H I kept saying no & ended up taking his & Scott's. Then the waiter moved another cut up next to it so Scott & I stood there and had our picture taken. :H The things I'll do when I'm sober. ROTFL

PS - Bird - what side effects did you have on the Nal? Do you remember?

Yuck - you're working too. Nal is an anti-craving drug. I'm giving it a shot. I think it must be working. I'm certainly thinking about it as much as I did before.

Quiet here today........ just got in from work and taken some more supps and some more L-Glut. Busy day at work. Well - not customer wise - but I was busy. had a ton of stuff to do. we had more storms but no hail thank goodness - temps are in the 90's now and it is really humid! I really need to get out and pant my flower seeds - I keep saying it and still haven't done it!! Maybe I will in a minute - have to phone a friend in UK first - and feed the dogs, then I might!! then watch some NCIS - am trying to catch up on it!!

Good to see you posting after me Bird - things are back to normal almost!! yes, it was good to get up with a clear head today and I can feel the Topa/supps working this afternoon too. YEAH ME!
