J talked with Pappy's home nurse today. She said Pappy is looking better than last week and he is not going anywhere soon. I tightened the thumb-screws on J last night and she talked to her sis and her mum about alerting nephew. Sister swears she has told him what's up. I just know how shocking it was for me to see him for the first time since he's been really ill. Can't imagine how hard it would be for a thirteen year old.

He was gorgeous to the end though. historically I believe he was the only friend Henry had through his whole life-- he survived banishments and lots of upheavals but they stayed life long friends-- for Henry that was very rare which makes Brandon an interesting character historically. From the shows standpoint, what a hunk he is-- I prefer him over JRM any day!

Fen-- have a great time with Rubes. Hope J is okay.
Paula-- hope things ease up-- geez-- you have been thru it.
Nora-- hope the day was marvelous. Whatever your hubs did-- shame on him. I feel for you babe. You are one strong lady.

When I went through my cancer in 2001, Hubs retreated and was very angry at the world. My 5 and 9 year old (at the time) took care of me emotionally. They were precious little rocks for me.
