It is still raining here.....and I am back to work in a few hours...still battling brain fog and ear buzz...so that's frustrating

I was thinking last night it would fun for all of us to meet somewhere and spend some time together...
There are some lovely beaches on the Atlantic and that would be a central location except for Fena dn Sun...think about it...????

Mama-- I will talk to him about it-- it could be related to that-- lots of stuff can be. But I could get depressed before the injury too so who knows. Gulf Shores is near Pensacola -- about 30 miles -- about 6 from the border . Took the direct hit in Ivan and some glancing blows in Dennis. Katrina etc plus the oil spill., just finished hang out fest down there (Bon jovi played at the first one after the spill). Luke is very excited to be going, he and I walk to the pier and look at the fishermens catches and he loves that then get a Popsicle in the state park shop on the pier and walk back--- this makes his day for some reason!

Better get moving. I dread working out-- I would rather lay around!

Good Morning all - Jan - hope you are doing okay with the storms.... we got a smattering of rain - literally just that! Not even enough the show the pavement wet all at once....

Bird - so sorry you still have mufflers to work on - yuck! Hope your daughters cyst removal goes okay for her. the worst part is the injection to numb it!!

The Guinness keeps going Jan - three on sunday, two yesterday .... day off today but will try and keep it to two. I think Fen came home yesterday.....

Have to take the puppy for a shot today and last night Daisy was scratching her ears - I cleaned them out for her and also put some anti-biotic drops in them but am taking her with me for Tim to look at them just in case. As she was neglected before we got her, her ears are always a problem...... hence her being deaf too.

I tried taking Katie for a walk this morning and she will not walk on the lead - just plonks her little bottom down and stays there!! Won't even be tempted with a treat. I will have to work on it......

ATL - I am hoping that your workout goes well - get those endorphins going and maybe feel better? Hang in there......:l

Good morning, my peeps!

I have returned from Historic Georgia. I just now woke up for the day- traveling takes it all out of me.

I am waiting for Rubes to send a pic she took of me on her front porch. I have decided not to post my travelogue on here, but instead send it to my trusted peeps via email. New trusted peeps can send me their info so I can send my pics, etc. to them. Most of the people here are wonderful- it's to those I'll share my stuff. For obvious reasons.

I am so proud of myself!!!! I just stood up to a roofing guy who thought I came up the mersey on a bicycle! They gave us an estimate a week ago - then we chose the colour for the shingle - the chap came out today and we needed to fill in the final paperwork - well, he asked to see the insurance paperwork for the measurements - I thought it rather odd - but being the polite soul that I am, gave them to him - long story short - he filled in the amount that the cheque was for now, instead of the estimate!!! I was very polite but basically said he was ripping us off - his answer was he had no idea how on earth he had come up with the previous figures!! I was fine until he left - then I dissolved into a shaking bundle of tears!! I did call my insurance company and talked to them - they said that once we had the cheque, whomever we went with was up to us...... I hate when people are dishonest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And think I am stupid to boot !!!!!!!!!!!! I am off to have a Guinness.
