Hello all - I'm here. Tired tonight, so it's going to be an early one. Can't stop thinking of Fennel & family and what they are going thru right now. Hard times.

Mama - it would be worth having a free apartment. You all have been struggling so much. This could get you caught up. You still have the lake house. :l

Yeah-- but there will be lots of food around and I am sure I will eat it!! Your California team won tonight in hockey. Thinking I might have to consider the pain management route due to the after effects of the head injury coupled with some of the lingering effects of other past health problems-- don't know-- I have fought it for a long time-- I guess I just need to discuss it with the neuro- it may be contributing to my mood if I am honest-- the uncertainty of not knowing if I am going to feel well enough to make it through and do all the things I need and want to do. Lots to think of...

Rog - dear Rog - I understand what you are saying, but you have brought us all together on this thread and I know the thread was never about totally you, but I feel that we have some special friendships here that will possibly be lifelong. This is a thread to come home to and I think it will still keep going and hopefully you will still pop in and let us all know how you and Sue are doing. We all have certain people put across our paths for a reason in this lifetime and I just know that you, and this thread was put across mine for a reason. If it hadn't been for you - yes, YOU, I would never have met some of the wonderful people here..... so you have definitely made a big change in my life..... Love you my friend :l

Jan - I know the feeling when you come off an AD - remember the big 'mini stroke' debacle? Please come down off them carefully....... I had been on mine for about 12 years at least - maybe longer. It took a good month (including the hospital episode) to get mine out of my system but that was not a good way to do it. If you are having symptoms, maybe go back up a tad and come down even more slowly..... As for the apartment and your house - that would be a huge step for you. I think what would worry me was if anything happened to the job...... Could you maybe just downsize the house instead?

Hi there Nora - good to hear from you - I went to bed way before you posted last night. Yes, we do have a roofer - they are actually coming tomorrow morning to do the roof and then Monday or Tuesday to do the siding and the gutters. Got it for the original estimate. TONS of apologies from the boss of the company - the chap was just supposed to come and find out the colour of shingle we wanted - he totally messed up. Too long and boring to go into here. He is the brother-in-law of one of the partners and had been out of work - they were trying to help him out and he had no idea what he was doing - DUH! The company has been in business for 12 years and has had no complaints then in two weeks, has had three 'cos of this chap!

ATL - am amazed that you are asking to be pushed harder - you won't be able to move when you go on your trip!! I would think that you will be active on your trip so I wouldn't worry too much about it all - just try and enjoy yourself - you need to relax and just have fun - run with Luke on the beach !!

Hubs says rent a house...we just want to get Clay through high school...2 more years....there are so many things to consider....

Morning jan - yes - renting a house would be a much better option...... No - roof will be started tomorrow - and I am off which is good. SO glad you are going to take a few months to come off your AD. That makes me feel much better. I am feeling fine thanks - have my ups and downs - but don't we all? LOL I just am keeping an eye out for the black cloud feeling over me and that has not come back. If it does, I will take rhodiola. I do not want to ever go back on AD's.

Dogs are having a mad five minutes and are thundering around like a herd of elephants! They are so funny!! No doubt it will wake Grumpy up though..... oh - they have had enough and have both just flopped down, panting. LOL

Off to the shower. oh - we have a 90% chance of rain today - YEAH !!!
