MB-- why do you worry about me? I am okay-- except I have to admit I just went and biught Wendy's for the painters-- what Mark doesn't know won't hurt him, they just work so hard for minimum wage.
Sunny-- I would love to work in a book store but then I bet lots of people who love to read say that-- i love people and like all types of books-- would I be a good candidate? I probably spend $300 a month on kindle books and love talking about them-- i drive people bats with it! As for the hens-- I am not sure I can avoid them. I tried to get Mark to take Luke -- but he is the one barbecuing -- and having beers-- so I am stuck traveling to FunBowl.

Trying to get up the energy to go to work. I just feel like being lazy today though.

ATL - I think it's great that you give the painters food & drink. You are so thoughtful. I love my Kindle too. That's what I've been doing all morning - reading.

Mish - I just love that you are back here posting again. I missed you. And, you enjoy the jewelry. I think it's wonderful that they see how far you have come. :l

Bird - sorry about your daughter. Stupid ex boyfriend. I do think it's great that she is going to talk a counselor.

Sun - what do you think is wrong with Daisy? Did you show Katie how to poop? :H

Today is my parents 63rd Anniversary. Wish I could be with them. Ok - need to make the big decision if I'm going to actually get up & go in to work for a few hours or just roll over & go to sleep. :H

Mish - how nice to see you. SO sorry about your Ross River - of course I need to Google it to see what it is - what would we do without Google? Lovely about the emeralds though - so happy for you

jan - I have had a ball outside today - SO SO hot though. Hubs rang me and asked me to low the grass as it is supposed to rain tomorrow but the heat index is now 98 and I called him back and said I might do it later. No promises!! I have so enjoyed it out there - starting at 6.30 helped!! I have made bread and it is on its second rise so soon to be in the oven. I have had such a nice day and it is only 3.30. Might even iron later!!

Nora - what would you say if I said yes I did show Katie how to poop - ROTFLMBO !!!!! How funny She lasted overnight then went this morning so I left her inside when I was outside - I came in and she had gone - again!! took her out and she went - again!! Guess she needs to get her routine down better. Daisy seems better as far as I know - when she threw up after eating she was eating it - sorry - too much info!!!! And I haven't seen her doing it since and she seems fine now. Maybe she just had a tummy bug - oh gosh - I do not think I could handle yet another ill dog!! I have an appt on Tuesday for katie to get her rabies shot so if Daisy isn't well can take daisy with - we will see.

ATL - wish you had the Nook - it is way better than the Kindle. I won't say any more LOL. yes, most of my wages goes on books too. And hubs is an avid reader too so he loves it as well. I am so lucky that I love my job.

Fen - good to have you back - look forward to chatting with you - did you have a good time at the cabin??

Nora - gosh - 63 years - wow, and I think hubs and I are doing well at 30!!

I found a male cardinal side of the road and brought him home and put in bird cage and bird cage in chicken coop. He is better than he was when I found him but still cant fly. Been diggin in the dirt all day too Sun...ATL I gained about 5 pounds since team lean ended. Still working out though....Nora, I wouldnt mind working on Sunday if they would let me. Then I could make up the time for taking all the Mondays off. That is a big anni, for your folks..Mish good to see you and cool about the jewelry...gotta go cook

I have eaten a ton this weekend-- but just about every diet I ever have seen has advocated that occasional cheat day when you hit that plateau to trick the body-- I need to-- mine is thinking I am starving (exercising off about 500 cals and eating about 1200 cals) and I need to shore up so I can hit the gym and scare the old ladies with my exercise routine while singing loudly.

Sun-- I may agree with you about the Nook-- this will be the 4th kindle I have had-- they just die for no reason at ALL and I have been without for 4 days while they are shipping due to the weekend. Yes it is free but I had it all set up like I like it and now I will have to redo it. This is in the past 6 months alone for 3 of them. And I do not drop them or anything. They gave a credit so I could buy some more books but if it goes again-- well same thing!

Mark came in about 2 hours ago-- he scored the game winning goal and was so proud. Then had the barbecued corned beef. I got a ride for Luke to the party but made him pick Luke up at 5 9it is 5:30 now)-- so he could nap after the game. I think I will go set up the deck again-- it seems dry since it was baking hot after the painters left-- they painted most of that yesterday and had only one patch of it today they finished at noon. Then I will cook a steak.

MB-- you are so nice to worry about my health. I hope it will be okay. I had to give myslef a migraine shot today. It was so funky! But it seemed to help.

Bird--only gaining back 5 is good. Are you trying to get more off or just stay the same?

Nora-- what is the status with the tests? Are they this week? Mark has one tomorrow (the colonoscopy). He never worries about a thing. I guess worrying is my job! 63 years is unbelievable! Wow. I wish I had gotten married early enough to be married that long. (If I live to 94 I guess I could) We got married when I was 31-- I had the career thing and all that jazz. My in laws have been married 54 years and my parents almost 46. As Tony Soprano sayid "we are Italian and catholic, we believe in the nuclear family' (hee) (Mark's folks are Irish and Catholic) as he is raging at Carmella about divorcing him.

Time to go drag some patio furniture around. Let's all have a good week okay?

ATL - Wow - you had to give yourself a migraine shot?!? I hope that it really helped. :l

I have a Kindle Fire now and I love it. I did have Kindle 3 and one time the screen cracked. They did replace it right away but that was a pain.

I'm having my tests on Thursday. At least they're doing both of them at the same time. I can't believe Mark isn't nervous. I'm really anxious about them. But, I guess that's because I've been having so many problems. I just don't know why I keep having that pain in my side.
