Just got my ass handed to me by my 'sister'. She and my brother haven't spoken to me in 2 years (yes, they continue to party hearty every weekend, try to get my land, insinuate themselves in my family, but I'm fine with it till now). She called screaming and cussing, so when I said to calm down or call me when she could, she hung up. WTF?? Okay, back story. She no longer speaks to her son, and is mad because I do. But I raised the boy because of her marriages and partying, so I'M not giving up on him. It's just sad. My parents are gone this last decade, but this is nothing like what they taught us. It is sad, but have no idea what to do to repair it unless I just give in to her, which AIN'T happening. (Oh, and she's broke again! Parents left her 3 houses and $100,000, and she spent it on bad relationships.) She got 5X the value I did, but she needed it more, so no problem there. Oh well, not a big surprise, I guess. Everyone has family problems. Just a rude way to start a Sat morning!! If I had to act right now, I'd burn the damn table! And it's mine anyway, it belonged to my g'mother, then aunt, and they gave it to momma and me. Was ruining at the farm sitting in water. ((sigh)) I would have drawn straws with them before, but not now. Sorry, just feeling really petty right now. Can't lower myself to that, though.
Sorry, guys, vent over. Hubs wants me to sell out to them, get rid of them, but won't work, I know them. Bro has already ripped sis off for all her rentals and business property and there's nothing more I can do to help her.
