You are awesome Fen. And why in the Sam Hill are these standardized test score things so hard to read? And why do they give them to 1st graders? After reading these I suspect Luke wanted to finish the thing to get outside. I am pretty sure it is not a matter of not knowing what is going on but then again, I could be wrong. He could be showing us one side and the school something different. Then again-- since I need a log to interpret the freaking things I can't be sure! Off to karate, then to make some supper, Mark will be getting on his game face. I guess I will try to stifle the urge to tell him that I think he is over confident. Perhaps calling him captain Cocky an hour ago got that across. Well better than having no self esteem I suppose, he is highly successful at work and not boastful-- if you are going to trash talk-- do it in rec league sports with a bunch of old beer drinking geezers.

Hi everyone, I miss my sister so much, but so pleased that she is no longer suffering. It's almost a week since her funeral, and I truly thought I would die from grief, I was overwhelmed by it. As each day goes by things get a little easier, and oddly I haven't considered drinking, probably because she woudn't want me to. I do believe we have reserves of strength and thank god for this.

If I could skate MB I would play but only if they allowed me to hit. Mark plays in a non- checking league. Only the best best players here can Play checking -- too many injuries otherwise. Not to day there is not plenty of contact. Believe it or not, there are a couple of women in the mens league. Gutsy. Mark is a great skater still at 49-- it looks so fun but with my head forget it.
Paula-- I am so sorry for your pain. I have not yet lost a sibling but I know it has to be so tough. Good for you for using this as a good thing and not a reason to drink-- it would be so easy to numb. Thinking of you.Comment

the subpoena was from a former resident I don't even know..thank gosh!!!
With all our financial issues (bankruptcy, pending possible foreclosure, car accident) I was convinced it was something bad....PHEW!!
I used to play in an adult soccer league and loved it......I can't even bend over to tie up cleats much less run a field!!I love my family more than alcohol.:h
