        im ok about the job i took a long look at what i have lost : a job in psychosis, and a long look at what i have got: a lovely girlfriend, a roof over my head, a car, a paid job, a voluntary counselling placement and my degree, and i must say ive learned ive got a lot nd im quite lucky

            am going to friday night fish & chips all home made, it's in a beer batter, but I pretty sure it won't have any effect, as I've had it the last 7 weeks while having the colme, and nothings happend.....reckon the hot oil frys what little AL out of the batter..

            It is soo,so yummy all home made, only thing missing is a wally or pickled onion...:upset:

                          Pinky, sorry to hear about you not getting the job, but I love your positive attitude about things. Way to go!!

                          I love fish and chips but I haven't made the kind with thick batter for years. Mr. Stirly's heart condition and all. I just roll the fish in flour. Nothing compared to the batter tho'. Jan, I used to make the beer one as well. Yummy!!

                          Okay Troopers - this is for you gardeners out there. We have a red geranium plant on our one balcony. We've had it for about three years. Suddenly over the past couple of days, instead of the flowers looking like this - kind of a round ball...



                          They look like this, with some of the smaller flowers that form the ball, growing longer than the others. It looks really weird.



                          Have any of you ever had geraniums do that. We've had them for years and years and this is the first time we've seen something like this.
                          For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
