    Ok I'm going to give this another TRY !!!!!

    On Monday my cousin is coming to get to get me and take to a place that may place me in a rebab. (at my request)
    I'm at the end of my rope !!!
    I have been here for years and have had MUCH LOVE and support from you all but ..........
    I have not managed to pull it off.
    There is a faith based outreach program that she knows about that works with people with no job or insurance.
    SO I am going to talk to them on Mon. and see if they will help me.
    I can't do this again without some medical detox.
    I'm so fucking tired of my life as it has been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I did so well for almost 11 months last year but "I" gave up the fight.
    I DON'T want to fight it anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I'm SOOOOO fucking done with this all !!!!
    So please pray to whom ever you believe in that they will take me and help me out !!
    I will let you all know how it turns out Mon. night I hope.

        Hi Bob:

        I haven't met you yet but I hope I do. Please call back on Monday becasue I have something rather silly I wanted to share. I hope it gives you a good laugh and a different point of view. I also hope I can figure out how to get back to this thread! I get lost out here pretty fast!

              i haven't met you yet either--i'm usually pretty stuck in the s just starting out section, but decided to travel today.-- it sounds like a faith-based rehab could be wonderful for you. i am praying for you--and sending you strength. you can change your life and you will!! you're not giving up and you will succeed.

                  Praying for you Proparty. I know that you can do this!
                  I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                  Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                  Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                            I understand where you are at. I was there last November and did go to a rehab that saved my life. Had been to another kind of short rehab last summer after my first DUI, but had to get that second DUi to finaaly surrender and get to the place I needed to be. Didn't think I could do even one day AF, but am on day 169 today, so anything is possible! You did it before, so have faith that you will do it again! Please let us know how it goes on Monday. I am praying for you.
