I took my mangled book into the library, they said I can either pay $35 for it, or buy one online and give it to them. Either way it's going to cost me over $20....

Let's just hope I don't walk into any more "suprises" today.

I cooked squash the other day for the first time in years and as I was eating a bit, Freddie came over and started wagging his tail. I guess he thought it smelled good. I put a little in his bowl and he gobbled it right up and looked at me to give him more. Which I did, of course. And I just remembered that he once at a piece of green bean, raw.

I love it! A thread for animal lovers! If I can figure out how, I'll post a pic of my cat, but in the interim I will share that he actually loves to eat raw broccoli. Weird I know, but not the weirdest thing he does!! I also talked to a dog owner today at my daughter's soccer game who makes homemade meals for his dogs made of things like gizzards, etc. I'm not quite to the point of actually cooking for my cat but I was impressed!

I love my Mia(avatar). Pre Mia, I had Magda for 10 years. She loved baby carrots. Mostly organic and they were here "treat". She would also eat anything. She would wait at the garbage as my kids were pealing their carrots for school lunch and kersnaffle any droppings of raw veg. Mia on the other hand rejected the baby carrot treats but she does eat just about anything else I give her. Jupiter the kitty doesn't eat veg unless cooked but loves to clean the can from sardines. Today Mia dug a hole to China in my backyard! Grrrr but I loves her anyways.

Well, I have a long list of things LucyDog has eaten:

                          Fine Italian leather boot
                          Talbots loafer
                          Teva sandle
All the cane out of a table
The wooden legs to the dining room table chairs
The Sleep Number mattress topper ($400 item)
Countless rings like frisbees but softer
                          A Brahmin handbag never used
                          The wall
                          Dust ruffle on bed
The pant legs on any pants I put on. I have lots of pants with holes now around my ankles
The threads to all of an area rug
The corner of a piano bench
All the stuffing from the patio furniture chairs
A picture that I needed to hang and had propped up against the wall
                          All things paper and plastic
                          Rubber balls
                          Rocks
Toilet rolls- empty ones and full of paper ones
The wooden planks on the deck

She generally spits most things out after her destruction.
