Evening army. lol@flute talk:H. Pingu did you ever play any celtic or Irish trad music or are you a classical player only? Wud luv to learn to play if its not too late. I was thinking of starting on the tin whistle i'm ore of a trad girl thats if i ever get around to it. Luv the colourful skirt you bought. I only ever watched the Irish version of the apprentice which i love. Called to my sister this afgternoon and she gave an expresso/cappuccino coffee maker. Been lying in its box for a year not used so i ewas delighted to get it as i had one few years ago and never go round to replacing it as they are bit expensive. Looking forward to trying it tomorrow. Its basic model but i ain't complaining i got for nothing Been drizzling on and off all evening but no heavy rain yet. Another night of crap tv but i have the latest Martina Cole novel to finish. I hope JC has got better weather for her trip than here.

I didn't as a kid but now I am open to anything really, I spend a lot of time teaching piano through popular stuff, there are lots of books with CDs as backing tracks available. When I was learning I played some god awful dull stuff, the kids today would turn their noses up at it. I never particularly found anything celtic or Irish but I like all sorts
John Rutter tonight, Faure tomorrow then pop hits at school on Friday LOL
It's never too old to learn but adult pupils are the bane of my life..too self critical for my liking! And bloody hard work too!

Ahoy there all from a wet Thursday morning...Piano is beautiful Oney - it's one of the things I'm glad I was forced to do as a kid :H

Just back tracking a little to the meds thing - I hear it said, " why am I taking this crap?"... that often is a thought process with mental health meds (ADs, anti-anxiety, etc etc) and the thing is they make us better, and feel well again, so we think,"why are we taking this shite" and the reason is, BECAUSE IT'S WORKING - it's not until the dosage is stopped that we realise how we took it for granted, just cos we were starting to get used to feeling OK. It doesn't seem fair, but that's the logic as I see it.

i agree with everyone else whole-heartedly, PLEASE don't do anything without thoroughly consulting any doctor first...there's a darn good reason why the label reads: DON NOT STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE WITHOUT CONSULTING DOC...

Anyhoooo - just my 5p worth, as I have seen my sister and others close to me think they are tickety boo, stop taking their ADs and be dam near suicidal only a month down the track. Reality, folks....

Off I go in about ten mins - a wet and cold morning here, but that doesn't stop the phones from needing answered! I wish all you beautiful northerners a blissful and serene Weds night x x x
