Yis are all mad
It does not matter what age any of us are, or who ignores us, or who thinks we are nothing, boring, past it or insignificant.
We are strong, wonderful, valid human beings, with nobody else like us in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Thats a reason to celebrate your "yourselfness" every single shaggin day...so there.
I am my own biggest cheerleader, make sure you are yours too..."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

It's raining again here.....I am going to go along to the garden centre and see if I can buy some new wellies :upset:
Reccy I could SELL you a pair of wellies
Bought few trendy pairs back in Jan 2011 in anticipation of snow again & being all outdoorish - they are gathering dust at home.
Don't even get to go out in the poxy rain to splash about - being stuck here in corporate land 8 bleedin' hours a day:upset:
Rant over !!

Come back when you are 55+ overweight , gray roots , husband who doesn't see you, made to conform to the point of utter BOREDOM that you drink to relieve the BOREDOM. All the time your younger self is still there screaming to get out 'cos you are exactly the same person as you were at 30 & 40 but not treated the same.
I am not just talking about myself here - but I have worked with women of a certain age and this is a collection of their issues.
You are right though if we could only convince ALL women of their worth as people - not just as daughters, mothers, wives, and then when they reach an age cast aside as ' ah that's just Mam again'
As I've said before you are BRILLIANT and have 'found yourself' and are so strong so young - yes 40 is young. So I won't worry about you :h
Lot of cliches - sorry.
Another rant over

Thanks Satz, i won't worry about you either, your head is in the right space!
You are dead right in what you say tho, I used to feel COMPLETELY invisible in my 30's, kinda like a piece of furniture that had faded from lots of arses sitting on it."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"
