Good morning Tippers, Expatty, Pinngupurplepants, Fireyfoxy, Our Whizzy, Oners, and a yoooooo hooooooooo Kapo

Dara O'Briain was absolutely fantastic and topped the evening off with a maccyd.

His tour is called the Craic Dealer.

So grateful to back in the land of warmth, water on tap and a loo that flushes.

And our poor little Mia, sending her a great big :l (s'alright I've had a bath now Oney and I'm back to smelling of roses)

            A MacDonalds.

I was actually thinking of you while we were away. It didn't get over 7/8C during the day and I daren't think about what it was during the night.

Of course! YOu don't wanna know how I pronounced it on this side...

Sheesh - who wants to go camping in the arctic, then??? Did you take your furry bodysuit thingy with? Can't remember what they're called.

And now it's time for an early afternoon nanna nap before the cubs get home from school. Have to take the eldest to the optometrist for a checkup this afternoon at 3.30, so best get my rest while I can.

                          Howiyis,

Rob has just informed that the beautiful tree outside my house will have to be cut down as the roots are growing to large and will eventually go under the house and the foundations....they have already cracked the pavement outside.

I am SO upset, the very thought of cutting that lovely tree down makes me want to cry, I used to laugh at tree huggers, never thought I would end up being one.

Will have a cry in the bath later when I get 10 mins myself..

it's just too sad. I know yis all think i am mad but to me, a tree is a living , sacred thing...cutting it down is just horrible

:jumpwow: What an afternoon it has turned out weatherwise it was nice and sunny one minute then the clouds went dark and then hailstones came lashing down. Now the sun is out again:egad: Oney so sory your tree has to go i love nature too and hate to get ris of anything unless there is a real danger. Roots can cause damage in houses if the roots get too near. I have a very tall overgrown beach tree out back i have to get cut down but i can't afford to have it done yet as its expensive and i'm going to see if the council will do it. I'll keep some of the bark. I like trees but they can be a lot of maintanance which i'm not able for. I have two alm:more back and front i just about manage so they can stay.

Sorry about the tree, Oners :l

Your weather really does sound strange, Foxy.

The cub's eyes still seem to be OK compared to the last time they were tested - the left one has weakened slightly. He'll only need new contacts for th eleft one, but can keep the same glasses for now. Had a gelato on the way home. One scoop strawberry, one granadilla (what yous call passion fruit).
