i don't know i just know that someone said to a few members in here, that they were homophobic (or something similar) but meaning the same thing. And they were concerned that I would think they were, anyway, its a load of bull, everyone ok here and i often chat about mrs pinky and get warm responses, i just wanted to mention it incase they were any gay people in here who didnt wanna come into the barracks because of what had been said.

Good morning Starty Pinky Satz and kapone. Pinky who wrote that crap i didn't read or see anything about homphobia i agree everyoe is welcome here i'm shocked at this. Tho there seems to be a few trouble shooters starting silly treads about hate and other crap but i never saw anything about ant-gay. I tend to stick to this tread all me mates are here:H Seriously i dion#t need to start my day with negitivity scuse me spelling.

As for the homophobia allegations, perhaps it is someone just bored and stirring, or something? Nothing to lose any sleep over it, but while we are on the subject of sexuality, I am seriously starting to wonder if perhaps I am a-sexual :H:H... I can't think of anybody in the whole world I'd like to shag, but then again, I haven't thought about it very HARD!!

Alcoholism is a very non-segregative disease, it doesn't care if we are black, white, blue or green, matters not if we like having sex with men, women or apples or carrots, cares not if we believe in god, satan, or the lamppost....you get my drift? What we ARE here for is encouraging each other, respecting each other, laughing with each other, offering each other shoulder and/or an ear... we are able to achieve and maintain healthy and happy sobriety by BEING there for each other and sharing our experience strength and hope. The rest is just bollocks!! So please, peeps, try not to worry tooo much about what some poor, bored, demented and possibly half-cut person is referring to on other threads... it quite simply isn't worth our time x x x x

Good morning Troopers!1

Good to see so many up and about already.

A beautiful day here - partly cloudy, about 20C at the moment with a cool breeze. Perfect spring day. There were a couple of swallows chasing each other in the yard a few minutes ago. They are so cute to watch the way they dip and dive.

Pinky, you are right, everyone is welcome here in the barracks and there is no discrimination of any kind. Foxy, I agree about the silly threads about hate and shite. There really is no reason for people to start things going like that.

As for the posts about someone being homophobic, it was a big misunderstanding on the part of a member who posts regularly on another thread about one of the Army members. The posts were selectively removed, I expect by the Forum Moderator, and I hope we never see something like that again on the boards.

So, on a more positive note, wishing you all a very
