To tell you the truth, things here are not well at the moment. The economy is shite and we are really starting to feel it in our business. We are down to about 25% of what we usually do at this time of year. Actually, I don't think we're making a profit at the moment, just barely making ends meet. Mr. Stirly might be better off if he closed the business but then I doubt we could live off of his pension, and frankly, I don't know what he would do with himself if he closed the store. He doesn't really have any hobbies and even tho' he attends the plants on our big balcony and generally the few plants in the garden around the building, we live in an apartment building and he really can't get into gardening big time since the property is co-owned by all of the residents of the building. And I think depression would hit him big time if he retired. He says he never wants to quit working so we'll just struggle along hoping things turn around soon. We've just had federal elections with three parties getting 18%, 17% and 13% of the votes - enough to form a government if they could manage to agree on a few things. Mainly the one left-wing party that came in second is the one that's holding out and so we're most likely going to have elections again in a month or so. The whole thing has to do with the economy that's gone belly up and how we're going to right things. The left-wing party doesn't want to adhere to the rules and conditions set up by the International Monetary Fund that we're hoping to get huge loans from, and for some reason think we'll be better off if we go back to the drachma. So things are really up in the air here right now and everyone is worried sick and scared about what the future holds for this country.
Now are you sorry you asked??
there seems to be a right lot going on, i know where mr stirly is coming from i get depressed if i haven't any study to do, i'm a bit of a nerd, so in the summer when im off uni i am doing some cpunselling training with the BACP to keep me entertained, i hope ur business picks up soon, the political parties in reece sound a little corruptI love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

there was something on british television i think the programme was this morning and parents were talking about how they wanted pepper big banned from the television as they believed it was encouraging their children to be naughty, with pepper splashing in puddles and geprge being naughty.
my sister has a two yearold and said if their banning pepper pig i hope their gonna give the parents valium then as i will need it, lol, if it wasn't for pepper pig, a lot of mams would probs want valiumI love people who make me laugh.
