    Few questions tho.

    How much is a cup?

Raw oatmeal, is that like porridge or the pinhead oatmeal I use for the bread?

Do I have to use skimmed milk?

wax paper, is that like greaseproof paper?

Can I really cook them first and THEN freeze them?

Funny you should mention juice, I was thinking of maybe juicing fruit and taking it that way.

Glugged down my chia seeds in water today...poxy horrible.

Gonna incorporate them into my bread I think.
This is funny that you mention chia seeds and that they taste horrible. I completely agree with you. But you can buy them ready made, in different flavors. My favorite one is raspberry chia. Wonder if anyone tried making chia gels by themselves? Because 7 dollars per a small pack .... I don't know about you, but that bites just a bit :-)
Hope everyone is having a good day!

      :bump:

I've got a super easy recipe for a baked fish casserole with only a few ingredients. Potatoes, canned tomatoes, onions and cod fillets. I'll try and get it written up tomorrow. We had it yesterday and it is just so friggin tasty. And it's a complete meal in itself.

                Baked Fish Casserole

For each serving you need one piece of cod fillet about 1/2" thick, 4" wide and 8" long (the fish shrinks while cooking) and one large potato. The rest of the amounts are up to you. I like lots of the tomato and onion sauce that is the topping. Others may prefer less.

                In addition,

                Canned tomatoes (peeled, chopped)
                Olive oil
Pink or yellow onion, cut in half lengthwise and then sliced lengthwise.
                Garlic powder
                Chili pepper
                Salt
                Freshly chopped parsley

                For two servings

I use an 8-inch round or square baking pan.

Put 1/2 cup olive oil in a sauce pan together with a 400ml (14 oz) can of tomatoes, one large onion, 1/4-1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or more) and 2-3 dashes of chili pepper. Add about 1/4 cup of water and bring to a boil, then simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and test for additional salt or spices. Stir in the parsley.

In the meantime, peel the potatoes and slice them crosswise, (not lengthwise) into slices about 1/4" thick. Slightly oil the baking pan and place the potatoes in it in rows (square pan) or in circles, overlapping the slices so that they look like fallen dominoes. Spread them out enough that they cover the bottom of the pan completely. Place the cod fillets on top of the potatoes and spoon the sauce evenly over the fish. Cover with tinfoil and cook in preheated oven 180C or 350F for 30 minutes. Uncover and return to oven for another 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are soft and the fish cooked. Check halfway through this cooking time to make sure that the sauce doesn't get too thick and stick to the bottom of the pan.
