        LOL Pingu :H

I'm afraid we're having Unlucky Fried Kitten for dinner. I just cannot face the kitchen tonight. Waiting to pick up cubbette after orchestra practice. Curious to find out if our rocket worked.

            Hello Army!!!

Right now, in the ancient Olympic Stadium of Athens, the ceremony is taking place during which the Olympic Flame is handed over to the host city - London. It hasn't rained in Athens for at least 3 weeks and it rained today.... :upset: Luckily it's stopped for now but did it really have to rain today? Princess Anne has just accepted the flame.

So, for all of you in the UK - here's a little one from me....

For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

I'll have to go and check her out on Youtube. Don't know her music that well (or perhaps I do, without realising it)

I haven't heard either of the songs you and Stirly posted on the RIP thread.

How's stuff with your mum - is she settled in well with you? Saw yesterday I think that your Dad has taken to writing letters - has he any acceptance of the situation at all?
My mom was a bit emotional today. She a telephonic session with the shrink my father is seeing but generally she's OK. Phyiscally much better and taking much less meds. I still think she needs to go and see a shrink of her own. I've found an older / mature woman that could be a good option.

Judging from the contents of the letters, my father has no inkling of how deep-seated the issues are and there is very little if any signs of self-awareness. He still thinks things can be smoothed over relatively. He lives in cloud-cuckoo land...

She does realise it, Mollers. I'm not getting any sense that she's wavering. But there's a whole process that she needs to go through before she can leave all the baggage behind.

Och well - I'm quite sure everything will turn out for the best in the end.

How's the teenage demon, by the way?
