You can do this Dixon! I'm glad you've started a thread, it helps to get things down in writing sometimes. Way to go on planning an alcohol free weekend. Do you have anything fun planned?
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Thanks Madmans for your experience.I am too experiencing the same !
            K9Lover,
I haven't got any plan for fun, may be not going out for a couple of days and remain at home ,I will try some meditation and hypnosis musics.I will surf the Internet and listen songs , dance alone on my way and write an article to publish in a news paper .I will take plenty of low calories food and drink to fill the stomach up so that there is no desire for AL.
How do you think ?.Please share .

WTG DIXON! I say don't go out until your ready. If you don't feel that you can keep your quit, then stay home. I can go out and be around AL and not want it, but it took a lot of work and a support group that will slap the heck out of me if I were to drink. Once your ready, there are so much stuff out there for the SOBER you.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

IDea to be in safe place is working me.NOW A DAYS I remain alone and in contact with the people it I know.I am thinking to be in silence until I make 21 days.I think on this time my will power will be higher.I will stick with you and this forum.

                At last,
Either you or anyone , do you know the high amount of protien contents food is not good for weaker liver? Like egg, soyabeans, chick peas etc..
I am eating chicken and its not bad but those items above I feel a bit indigestive.
                Thanks

                      Hi Zen,

Yea, am taking Milk Thistle at the moment , bought from Holland and Barrett.
Ordered Kudzu rescue . Eating plenty of green vegetable and drinking water.I wanted a vegetable juice rather than a fruit but cant get . Do you/anyone have any idea please ?
My lethargy has gone even in 1 day AF and urine is very clear now !!. I am focused on AF now as I have perceived that my liver can regenerate quickly .Do you think ?. I must through my craving out so Kudzu is coming.I have Baclofen which tried before and now in stock for any emergency use.
Thanks Zen and how about you ?

Another important liver protector is NAC(amino acid). I guess the most inspiring "story" that comes to mind for me is Mario's, Roger's(tlrgs). I believe you'll find them under the section "My Story". There are many, many inspiring people on My Way Out even if they have not achieved long term sobriety. Connecting with like minded people on similar journies affords much support and inspiration. Keep going Dixon!

Are they still struggling ?. I have heard about tlgrs and Mario already and gone through their story a little bit last time and thinking to go ahead again. They helped me a lot last time when I was in trouble.Wow, Amino acid is also useful for brain's activities as well .. isn't it ?

There are many amino acids. NAC is important primarily for liver and lungs and therefore the body overall. You may be thinking of L-Glutamine for the brain and cravings. L-Glut also has a powerful healing affect on the intestinal lining. I am no expert. These are just things I've learned and experienced.
