Helloooooooooo all! Just aftr 7am on a verrrrrrry cold (minus 4 degrees celcius) wednesday. I have just changed channels on the telly after switching on the news when I got up 10 mins ago, and it was NOT the way to start the day - rape, murder, murder, murder, kiddie stuff and murder. I ASK myself!! THIS is why I shunned the media for 17 years and refused to watch the news.... I KNOW it is happening I KNOW it is dreadful and wrong and terribly, dreadfully sad, but I just DO NOT NEED TO KNOW the fucking details, thanks!!!! So we've switched over to an incredibly silly cartoon and it is utterly gorgeous....I have just made myself a promise to return to my old way of censoring myself when it comes to the news. I certainly don't need to start my day listening to all that crazy sad stuff, the kind of person I am, it can make me head off into my day wanting to maim many men.....:H:H
Other than THAT :H:H Things are peaceful and serene chez kap!
I ended up going to an NA meetinglast night - I don't go there very often, but it's ALL 12 steps, and there was a meeting about 2 mins walk from my home. It ended up being a wahine ora meeting (which basically means women only) and it was awesome. Went for a cuppa with a couple of members after, and had a few laughs. NOICE!
So without further ado, I wish you all a glorious AF whatever part of Tuesday evening you are up to!
(The cartoon i am watching on the telly is called "The Fairly Old Parents" - it's incredibly funny!!
