Thank you turn for starting this awesome thread!!! I just LOVE YOU GUYS and I owe my current life to My Way Out and AA and all the love and support I have been blessed with in both places!!!

So many wonderful wonderful messages!!!!! All I can say is that SOBRIETY ROCKS. Life still has it's ups and downs but now I'm LIVING IT instead of sitting on the sidelines of life nursing my bottle. Or longing to nurse my bottle. Or recovering from nursing my bottle by...you guessed it....nursing my bottle. THAT is NOT living. I am a very grateful sober woman today!

Dixon, I am SO GLAD to see you here. Fighting for your sobriety. NEVER GIVE UP. I was just talking to a guy this morning who made 90 days sober on Monday. He was talking about how hard it is, every day, to just NOT DRINK. (or drug) It was wonderful to be able to share with him (and now with you!!!) that this DOES GET EASIER. If we keep giving in and drinking, then we prolong the pain of stopping. There is a limit to the pain of stopping - we just have to stick with stopping long enough to get there! That is a really good reason to stay AF today, don't you think?

However, many kudos and thanks for sticking with us. So many who have gotten to where you are today have just left MWO because they got their lives together and were "done." I do not blame them nor condemn.
