          Sober Sunday Shout Out time.

Hi all Just found this sight last night in my drunken stuper. Today is day one of my AF journey. Been on the vodka for 15 yrs now and it's getting old. I've made a commitment to myself .....I'm done. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Also my brain is damaged obviously because my boss keeps shaking his head in disgust everytime I make a mistake. So many reasons not to drink. Wish me luck.

              Thanks Scottishman

I'm from upstate NY in the USA. Today is day 1 and I'm experiencing all the symptoms of withdrawl. Very nervous, shaky, confused and aggitated but I can't go back. The longest I've been sober was 8 days a few years ago. I just want this disease to go away sooooo bad.

Thank you Flossie for starting the thread.

This Chillgirl is shouting it out loud and clear on another Spectacular Super Sober Sunday!

2 years, 4 months and 27 glorious AF days! :yougo: :yougo: :yougo:

Vallan - thanks for the clip, another Scottish Lassie right here. I found this site too one drunken Saturday night, went into the chat room and was greeted warmly and supportively. I came back again when I was sober and couldn't believe there were all these people out there who felt the same as I did! And I had thought it was just little old me. Duh! Much great advice and many friends later, here I am and loving it!
