Welcome to MWO. I would encourage you to begin with 30 Days, Alcohol Free. At that point, you will begin to get some CLARITY OF MIND. The Fact is that Alcohol creates depression and anxiety. We become overly sensitive and our minds play tricks on us. How can we trust others when we do not trust ourselves? I know for a fact, that as good as the "Front" I put on during my drinking days and as "Highly Functional" as I believed myself to be, This Was Not the Truth of the matter.

Your hopes, dreams and honest relationships are out there and yours for the taking! You Can Change Your Life!

Perhaps check out the Newbies Thread and do some reading in the Monthly Abs and Long Term abbers threads.....they will give you hope and tons of useful information!

Vallan....I only saw this post today. I do not come to MWO everyday anymore. Read my first reply to you and I think you will see the point I was trying to make regarding how paranod and anxious we are when we are drinking. By the way, the lack of immediate response here at MWO did not cause YOU To Hit Rock Bottom! YOU and Only You can Change Things. I know it sucks, but that is just how it is!

Please start drinking some water and be careful and tomorrow, think about where you want to go with alcohol.

Unfortunately no one can fix us but ourselves. You need to REALLY want to be sober more than ANYTHING ELSE. Everyone here is awesome and will help you but you have to do the work.

No drinking no matter what....it is really does help to take the option away no matter what is going on.

Have you tried a support group? I did Smart Recovery and it really helped to change my thinking about drinking. It helps you learn new ways to deal with life and emotions. I liked the behavior modification approach. There are lots of different ways and groups to help you get sober. I hope you find something that works for you.
