I've always been of those people who led the way, the lightning rod, I was one of the folks who got things done I was at the top of the game........then I started drinking, mostly to take the edge off..I was always so wound up by the days events....a well-deserved,celebratory, necessary drink or so.... I don't know how it happened.....but before I knew it I was up to 4 or 5 martini's......and now three years have past and instead of being the leader and the innovator I barely hanging on.....ironically, and this is NOT denial, everybody around me thinks I'm doing great !! The reality is that I'm barely staying afloat....... Thanks for listening....Comment

thunder..priviledged here too...I hear you..no one in the world would have suspected that I had a problem with alcohol..when I tell them, they don't really believe me. It doesn't matter though..you know the truth. Glad you found us..bring on the 'rod'..we'll try to charge it back up! Download the book if you can and post often, many of us have turned this ship around! I have 4 months and a week AF.
