Hey Accountable,
My youngest is 20 months old......and he's only been going to bed at 7.30pm for about 2 months or so, He used to go to bed before that at about 10-11pm.....I tried that controled crying and it worked wonders.....I did it with my 4 year old aswell, now at bedtime its a story and sleep. I tried to let her 'cry it out' but she doesn't let up - she gets so worked up and the sound of her cry is worse than a cat being torchered - no lie! She goes to bed fine.... between 7-8pm but she wakes like at 2 or 3am and is up for at least an hour. (she is 21 months old, close to your son's age). I think she is waking and is scared or something. I am going to try the night light thing, and see if that helps. She was doing really well for a couple of months but now it is back to where it was, the last couple of weeks. If I need further tricks - I will definitely ask. Thanks Lisa!
So much for one word answers.... sorry guys!
