      Satz, I just now called the ferry company. The ferry boat is not up and running yet - the girl said probably the beginning of next week and that I should call again next week to make sure. AND now you have to book your tickets in advance since it's a smaller boat and you can't just show up and expect to get a seat. So, let me know exactly when you will be arriving and I'll call again next week or you can do it yourself. I PM'd you the number a while ago. If you haven't got it, let me know.
      Stirls - you are a STAR - really appreciate it ! We arrive in Zakynthos on 8the June evening. Overnight apt . booked - want to get ferry accross next morning ! If you could ring that would be GREAT help. I could send the money to book ? Owe you Irish Chocs :h

        I'd be glad to call. Just remind me in case I forget. Say, next Wednesday. The girl said when I call she will give me schedules, etc. BTW, if you and Mrs. A are on the islands at the same time, why don't you get together? Ithaki and Kefallonia are right next to each other. I imagine they have ferry service several times a day between the islands. I'd join you if it wasn't so far away from Athens. :upset:

          To all u lovely ladies out there i was thinking if i propose in january we might be going abroad, so i was thinking how about doing a message in a bottle, stain the message with coffee and burn it at the ends to make it look antique, then getting a bottle, sealing it with a cork or wax, nipping out for a stroll on the beach quickly and placing it somewhere then going out for a walk with mrs pinky and coming across the bottle she opens it etc, i get down on one knee, then a meal and all that jazz, how's that ?
