Things you only learn when sober!
That you can still have fun on a night out without the alcohol.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

My ripped up pajama bottoms are NOT cute, and not appropriate attire to wear to the store.
It's never a good idea to groom a dog after 8 beers.
It takes a really long time to wash your car with Wet Wipes.
A half cooked pizza at 11pm is not a healthy dinner.
The list goes on.:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

I do this for my children, my grandchildren, my health, my peace of mind, and mostly for the opportunity to learn to live with my true, unfiltered, clear-headed, vulnerable self.

You don't cook precooked shrimp for dinner. :|
You don't try to do laundry - because the next morning you realize you never took it out of the wash and into the dryer...
You go easy on the salt.
You don't take baths when drunk!
Food tastes so much better when sober and you remember eating your dinner!
The fights with your SO aren't worth it because you are overly sensitive because of AL.
Ahh...the list goes on and on...
