:H:H:H:H and you have REAL eggs!

                      Copied from stirly's post satsuma:

                      Oven Fries

You can make oven fries very easily and the fat content is much less than regular chips. Peel and slice the potatoes as you would for regular french fries and put them in a bowl, either stainless steel or glass. Plastic is fine too, but much harder to get the oil off of. For two medium potatoes, toss them well in a tablespoon of olive oil or corn or sunflower oil and salt. You judge how much salt you think they need. Then spread them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Bake them on the middle rack of the oven at 400F or 200C for about 30 minutes, turning them every 10 minutes until browned. A tip for turning them is to use an egg spatula to lift and flip them. You can also spice them up a bit by adding oregano or chili pepper or something else you like with the salt and oil. My sister uses oregano and cumin powder. I?ve never tried them that way but she swears by them. You can also leave the skins on for more fibre.

Tierney kitchens are lovely - depends what sort of kitchen you want - they are a bit more traditional. We inherited a 'good' oak sort of kitchen when we bought this house and just got sick of it after 17 yrs, so I just wanted modern, we got ours in KUBE - they're just outside Balbriggan - I loved their stuff but it is ultra-modern - so .......... either are good I think.
Evening Reccie --- how are you doing? Are you finding it hard to get back on the wagon? It's a bummer second time round for a while -- ya just need a bigger kick up the arse (not you personally I stress -- I meant 'one' needs one) really.
Thanks folks. (!) gonna go zzzzz . Waking up sober at all hours taking its toll

Evening mollers....no, you're right, I could use a kick up the arse. No one around to administer it unfortunately. It's not good to live alone when you're an alkie.

                          Night satz.

I think you hit the nail on the head there reccie, SO much harder if you live alone and can't "get caught" or don't have to hide it etc Also you have to be your own support team.

                            But it IS doable.

I know when I was down in the centre they were very very insistent that anyone living alone should go onto secondary care - usually a sort of 'halfway house' sort of a place for 3-4 months. I was horrified when I first heard about it - luckily cos they knew I had support at home it wasn't mentioned for me, but in hindsight I can see the sense of it. My roommate, who was down there for a second time in 6 months - she lives alone, and she went to secondary care this time round, and even tho she wasn't a bit keen, she did say it made a big difference - it just gave her space and time to break all habits and associations.
I think it is a great idea. Is your mate still sober?
