Pre-lunch check in to read all the happy, funny stuff.

I'm finding myself in a bit of a funk and have decided I must stop reading/watching/listening to the news for a while. The asylum seeker issue, the fires in Colorado ... bloody hell. It's all so incredibly sad.

Lunch will be pan-fried ling, spiced baked potatoes, steamed brocolli - with a dollop of tsatsiki. That should cheer me up a bit. As do Undies and visiting Internationalists. ***Hiya RC***

I typed a ream of D&M there Tawny but it disappeared, probably for the greater good. Shaking off the bad news and school reports here. I asked Mr Happs last night if he'd like to go a a date night - how pathetic is that?? he has just been so down lately.

And then today the universe called back and we are off for the annual Melbourne trip!!! yaya!!! Carlton vs Collingwood!!! I was only looking at Mojo's piccies yesterday and thinking how awesome it looked...
