I've been wondering how James Cook would have felt, if he had sailed all the way from the north of England to Hawaii to watch the Transit of Venus in 1769, and then had bad weather that stopped him seeing it??? :H

Good plan TF. We did that a couple of years ago. At 3am we were de-icing the car to get to the airport for our 6am flight to Sydney. By lunchtime we were in shorts and t-shirts and jandals. We spent a week there and it was sooooo worth it!!

And they actually had some really great places to eat!! And a good Mac shop

It puts quite a lot into perspective. Earth is about the same size as Venus.
