Lily - the quilt is just lovely. I do quilting too and I'm just about to start a piece for my MIL's birthday - in July. I know, I'd better get moving. She will visit in August from NZ so I hope to have it done by then.

Yep Bridge she is really grateful. When she thought she was a 'goner' she gave me all her clothes and costume jewelry. She lives alone and her house and garage are wall to wall clothes! She also told lots of people who owed her money not to worry about the debt and she had me sort all her finances out so she knew who got what etc. She is so organised in everyday life I guess she wanted things sorted and in order immediately! We laughed yesterday about the clothes, saying if I'd have loaded them up and taken them when she was insisting she'd be cold and naked these days. Anyway, it is a bit puzzling so I'm not completely comfortable with what's being said just yet!

I think I'm going to do a big stir fry for dinner tonight. I've eaten so much soup lately I slosh when I walk....kinda!

Photobucket does stuff to me all the time....Lilly your quilt is gorgeous. You really should put something into EKKA, that is just lovely. Do you let the grandkiddies use it or is it look dont touch?

Roasting a slab of organic grass fed moo cow...close your eyes Bridgey....off the chicken for a bit...There will be stir fry greens from the garden. I'm into your idea of micro chinese greens....

Grandkiddies use it, I've made quite a lot, from fairies, flowers, doggies,cars, etc they fall in love with them, and I say well just take it home with you. I just like making them to be honest.Trying to make up my mind what to sew next.

We do go to Super Butcher Lilly. Dont eat a lot of meat actually, and Mr Happs doesnt eat red meat at all. But when we have it we have really nice stuff, but small portions, kind of justifies the expense. And we've got lots of spuds and yorkshire pudding on the side for the boys to fill up on too The greens are from the garden and so is the corn. Cant wait to get our first spuds....
