Just checking in for a tic.
Mr Rags dads funeral yesterday. Tawn, your cheese triangles were a HUGE hit. And so were the sausage rolls except take note all you pastry cooks...... look at the bloody label on the frozen pastry pack.... I accidenatlly cooked 2 lots of sausage rolls in shortcrust pastry... I'm looking at it thinking.. "this does't look or feel right" but merrily kept on using it. I will use the filling to make a shepherds pie tonight.

Mr Rags stayed up in Sydney last night so I am off to get him in a little while. And have lunch with a friend who is going off overseas for 3 weeks tomorrow.

Girlfriend in hosp. now showing definite signs of jaundice, so not long for her.

Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch... it really has been a hectic week or so.


Bridge... that must be one intensive permiculture course!

But I did take a peek at the lovely lemon drizzle cake.... YUMM.

Don't know what happened during my last incomplete post! Got chucked orf!!!

Anyway, I scrapped my car on a fence.....don't ask. Because it is a foreign make and a convertible it is complicated to fix and exy!!! Never again will I buy a luxury car! So, I'm stuck at postcode 2151 and even though I'm well prepared I feel a bit lost. Anyway, I have the option of training it if I want to make a quick trip back to postcode 2756. It will be good for my thighs to be car-less, that is for sure!! I gotta get back to being fit like I was a coupla years ago......

I couldn't imagine paying that much money for a meal Tawny - even if there was wine!!! By the time I could afford to buy decent tasting wine I'd hit the wall, slid down and sitting on my fat a**e saying I give up!!! I'm v.pleased about that too, I gotta tell ya...

Thought of Rags this morning so sent love via my love wave machine! Hope it arrived, it was a big load so may have taken some squeezing through the wires.

Keep up the good work Ronnie. Hope the busy day at work is productive, yet non stressful.

I bags Techie to stay at my place when he comes for his 'week or two' with the Undies. Well, if it's two weeks he could house hop! We could trek between places serving culinary delights (you lot) and not worry one bit about a single calorie.

Just thought to tell you something I thought was funny....

The other night my darling daughter (DD) was over for a visit. She wanted me to look at something she had posted on facebook and my iPad was in my bedroom. I couldn't remember the name of my iPad - I was doing six things at once and couldn't think straight. I said "ok, I'll have a look in a minute!!!! Just go get my facebook machine from the bedroom.....!!!" I laughed, she didn't. The kids reckon I'm getting "weird in the head" now I'm "old". I'm 49 in a few weeks - is that old??? Me thinks NOT!!!
