I reckon some people DID camp out....yes a successful buying mission. Had an eventful queuing session with my usual magnet on my back which attracts every sexist, bigot, whingeful person to have a conversation with me or rather at me...I fought for the red pans and by DOG I got them all. Then did the re think as we walked around getting some other groceries and put the square griddle pan back...then I picked up a trivet, grater and the two knives...

I will now be working to pay said pans off for the next few hours...before cooking soup and displaying in one of them...I think that cooking with them will be a workout in itself as they are so heavy. Like Tawny said it will be a trick getting them in and out of the oven. Or anywhere else for that matter...

busy here getting ready for grandkiddies coming over for a few days, getting my hair done in the morning and then taking them home with me, daughter has 4 kids, so that will keep me busy,but I will enjoy it...thats when I will make the pizza when they are here... they like to help when I make them...

good you got the pans HP red will be nice, I have red accessories in my kitchen..

piddling rain here still too, forecast says it going to clear for the weekend, will see if they are right..

I made mine last weekend but didn't do photos as I don't do sides or presentation. And in the end it just looked like soup - surprise, surprise :exclaimation: Tasted yummy though!! (And might I remind you all that it got Techie's seal of approval)

And this weekend it is Mr B's boy's birthday so we are going up to see him for that on Friday and bringing him back with us for the first half of the school holidays. So the only thing I am cooking this weekend is birthday cake and whatever he wants for his birthday dinner. And I have told Mr B that he is responsible for cleaning for the next 2 weeks and I will not be picking up after them :-)

Think we'll do home-made pizza with potato dough next week though - I'll do the dough and Mr B and boy can do the toppings

Rags - I've heard people in the tourism industry here say that Chinese visitors/tourists are absolutely fascinated by sheep. Sort of like how fascinated I get with critters in other countries. But there are entire businesses in NZ founded on charging tourists extortionate sums to visit run-of-the-mill sheep on run-of-the-mill farms. I think it beggars belief and is vaguely unethical ........
