Not sure how I posted twice. For some reason by the time I am situated and checking in here it feels like morning, but it is about this time of afternoon. I am honored and so grateful for all the love shown to us and little Leon. He is doing little smiles and a giggle on occasion and it's only been 2.5 weeks. It has been such a lovely thing to have shared this experience with everyone here. SO thank you for allowing us into your hearts.

Here at last!
Techie! A whole Croc Shop. What bliss. And mauve ones to boot. You're A.mazing.
So lunch was excellent on the whole but I didn't quite understand a cannelloni dish being followed by a gnocchi dish (yes, that's what the potato pillows were, Happs). However, I was inspired enough to try to replicate the chorizo croquettes which I've just had for lunch and shall deffo make again.
All courses were served to matching wines, bottles of which were put on the table. It was interesting to note that on our table of 14 there were 2 AFers, one woman sat on two glasses of fizz all day, another 8 were totally sensible and just poured a small amount per course and of course another 3 made total arses of themselves. C'est la vie.
Apart from the chorizo trial, I've also got another asteroid loaf rising and life is very kind.

Rags, I was going to say that 10 days after I was born, my moms brother committed suicide. He left behind a wife and 4 kids. My mom and dad packed us up and we went to the funeral, and stayed in town for a while. My mom said his widow never put me down, my mom only got to hold me to feed me. Life and death are always close to one another.
Haps, we are heading to Brissy tomorrow to show my parents around. Going to do the Rivercat, walk the botanical gardens, and have lunch at a yummy restaurant. Do you have any dining suggestions?
