Defo elope. Minimum fuss. Go on a holiday instead of pay for pissheads to drink.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

OK Undies I have a moral quandary and need a bit of a brain storm session/past experience etc.

If you knew a couple and knew that one member of the couple was cheating, not just once but repeatedly would you blow the whistle?

You know I never even thought that he might already be aware of it

SHE certainly thinks that he is in the dark about her extra curricular activities. She's quite smug about it actually.

I think I'd have to blab and risk blowing the friendship. Better than "What, you knew all this time and didn't tell me?"

I have had this situation a couple times and have told and not told. It depends on the situation personally. My best friend is married to a guy who has cheated on her from the beginning. She is so in love with him that she would hold it against the person telling her instead of against him. Even though everyone else sees it (and I think she has some inclinations,) when someone brought it up to her, she put the friendship aside, and clearly stated that she knew exactly the man that she married, and to but out because it was her marriage and no one elses business.
Hard place to be in Bridge. You just have to go with your gut. Some people would welcome the info and leave their partner behind if they found out they were cheating, others will think someone is just trying to break them up and doesn't want them to be happy.

THAT'S what I'm afraid of. Everyone around here knows except him. Poor bastard.

That makes him the laughing stock in a small community. Without knowing the guy, he doesn't deserve that.

Sometimes you hold on to what you've got even if others consider it flawed.

Its icky shes smug about cheating though...kind of makes you want it to come out...

Hmmm....true. I just wish she'd stop telling me about these conquests. I actually lined her up and told her that I didn't want to hear about it next time she picked someone up.

I know that if I blabbed I would be accused of all manner of things like jealousy and mischeif making.
I think she wants the security of a marriage, but also the freedom of my type of lifestyle as well.

Exactly......in a city it might not be quite so crucial....

Very controlling and manipulative person. School teacher by trade, but one of those who think they can controll the rest of the world as if it's a school room, and they're in charge.
