    underoo's jumping june jamboree.

    Morning kids.

MB, that's interesting abut the drinks. I find in America, that junk food and fast food is so incredibly cheap, that a lot of low income families survive on only those foods. While fruits and veggies are more expensive. I have watched some interesting documentaries over the years , and the food companies that make the crap products, have all the politicians in their back pockets.

I need some toothpicks to hold my eyes open for the rest of the day.

Ive learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances. -Martha Washington

Re toothpicks: pass em over. I had one of the worst sleeps on record last night. Pretty sure I got about an hour in.

The boy and I have started the morning of in joyous fashion with a bloody great big argument. He really is a lazy little sod, and I think it's time to drain some of that defiant energy with some jobs and contributions around the place.

Sometimes I forget that I'm in charge here and hold all the power to allow or withold.

                Arvo all,

Good to see you stick your head in the drawer Mr.G. Glad you're travelling well.

Bridge - it was full moon last night - maybe that's why the crappy sleepage.

Now I bet that Happs woman is hogging Little Leon even as we speak. ***harumph***

Nothing to report here - cold and drizzly, not enough rain to be of much use, just a general embuggerance. Might curl up on the internet for the rest of the arvo. Thanks Bridge!

Same here Sunny. Some of the big companies (like Fonterra and Hubbards and one of the fresh food distributors) have been shamed into providing (free!) a decent breakfast at low-decile schools. It makes a big difference to how well kids learn when they have a decent breakfast inside them

All power to your arm Bridge! I'll send you a PM ...... but I think that your boy needs to understand that this is not about you being the big bad witch, but about equipping him with the skills that he needs to be an independently functioning adult, capable of being the best person he can be. And, as you say, making a contribution. :l

Has it been a full month since the supermoon
That's just bizarre, and will defo explain it, always did react to the moon cycle.
Also feeling very swollen and bloated. That may as well be the moon's fault too......

Make sure you take a good snort of that baby too Happs....babies smell unreal....

Still a bit challenged by thinking of vegetarian options for every night. Doesn't have to be a drama, just takes a bit of getting used to.
Grocery bill was sliced fair in half today due to no meatage. In HALF! Good stuff....

Would, but I don't like it. Maybe a bit of tinned tuna. Not very gourmet, I know.
