    underoo's jumping june jamboree.

    Heeeelp!
Drowning in ocean of boring paperwork and assignments......
    Gurgle.....gurgle.......gurgle....

I'm going the point of lays next time Happs.....still, you must have had a bit of bad luck with them. Most of our rescues are still alive.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

      Arvo Undies,

I'm back and ... isn't it a pleasure to have certain people in your life? Went to see cancer lady and am gobsmacked by her attitude. I think I've said it here before but I'll risk repeating myself. Younger people may impress me but only older people truly inspire me. I want to be like her when I turn 75. Assuming, of course, that I'll last that long ....

In other news ... just got an email from a supplier of herbal goodies. I've used her before and like her stuff. This time she's flogging Room & Body Spritzers - Beautiful blends of Essential Oils & Fragrant Waters to be used to freshen a Room, the Bed Linen, Clothes. The 'Happiness Spritz' contains
Bergamot, Lemon, Petitgrain, Lime, Geranium, Frangipani, Cinnamon & Ylang Ylang.

I want to work with her to develop a new Happiness Spritz containing essence of *fried onions, *leather, *freshly-cut hay, *horse poo and *basil. Any takers?

Evening Undies. Bread therapy works as does having some mates turn up this arvo to check out our work in progress on the house. Its nice to show off some of the good stuff.

Yep, the vet reckons you get three years tops out of these hybrid chickens. Which includes their time in the battery... Basically they are totally done in from laying at such volume. Makes me sad. I cant keep doing the rescue thing, it tears you up, not to mention the little locust. And I think I've got another one whose comb is shrivelled and blueish so another three weeks....So yes next time this is the go....

Pure Breeds - Speckled Sussex , Hens Breed,,Speckled Sussex Australia, Queensland, Brisbane

or one of the pure breed point of lays...

              Hi Undies,
Been a very full weekend for me. I haven't read back yet .
just to let you know my FIL died this afternoon at 3:15, while I was teaching my girlfriend s (the one with cancer) kids how to make pumpkin ravioli. Mr Rags is on his way home now.

The kids had a good time, even the little boy joined in... they made a fruit platter and stabbed the fruit with toothpicks which dropped off the end into the fruche... much laughter.
Then Nigellas cup cakes with green icing and yellow icing which they made themselves and decorated. Then pumpkin ravioli using wonton wrappers... got the recipe from last Tuesday Good Living from the SMH... yummy.
I think they are making the pasta bake... I had to leave to come home to be with Mr Rags when he gets here.

                        Thanks Tawn, Thanks Bridge,
Very peaceful . I saw him yesterday and the day before. Said my good bye then. Not a bad innings 84 and 10 months. He had a bloody good life, and did a lot of community and charity work.

My wonderful monk phoned Mr Rags.

                          Arvo everyone
Rags sorry to hear about your FIL honey xx
All this talk about bread making is putting me to shame as I dont do baking :-)
We had a power cut hear at some point today but all seams back to normal it did not efect me as i was at work, I just have to go round now and reset the clocks!!
The weather has calmed down at bit hear but still very windy but we have another storm comming tomorrow night, i am lucky where i am as i live at the bottom of a valley (sort of) so all the bad winds go over us rather than hit us if that makes sense :-)
                          :dancin: enguin:
                          starting over

Ronnie, I've always liked to cook, but I've never baked. This is all new for me and I have to admit to enjoying it, especially the bread...its bloody easy and fun...give it a crack just once, your boys will love it...
