Hey folks. My surgery has been pushed out to the 26th. Thank Dog, I can wear my contact lens again. I've been having trouble communicating in the forums and sent a PM to the wrong recipient the other day. YIKES. Well now I'm facing two surgeries. They need to remove some mild cataract before attempting the retina surgery. So, cataract surgery on the 16th, and then retina on 7/7. Is this important for you to know? NO, of course not, I'm just lonely and bored :H
Nicey, how is your dog doing? Ok girls, I'll let you get back to your pies. Did I ever mention that I LOVE PIE?Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Aspy - great stuff on the weight loss. Are you finding the no carbs difficult?

Morning Undies, busy drawer this early. Off to do meetings but no giraffes thank dog. Techie, it will be fine I just know, dunno how.
Lilly, love the garden as therapy, what are you planting? We have to go to Toowoomba tomorrow so will have to wait until Sunday to get a full day pulling up stuff and putting in new things.
Good stuff Asp on your diet plan, is your wife doing it too or are you just cutting out the carbs on your meals yourself? I find it hard to keep that side down in winter...and probably spring, summer and autumn too...
Pie challenge is on....

Did the fast walk this morning and decided it's going to have to change to a slow stroll with knapsack on back. Literally thousands of self-seeded gum trees are springing up all over the place and if I don't get rid of them now they'll turn into biggies and become totally scary bushfire fodder. There are too many to dig out so I guess it'll have to be Roundup.
In other news - I better declare my hand here. I've so been enjoying the bread making thing and intend to keep going. However the old Kenwood didn't perform very well with the kneading so I invested in a bread-maker. I can't stand the shape of machine-baked loaves but it's fantastic for the kneading and first rise process.
Happy Tenday, Ronnie!

A pie challenge it is.....
Good morning one and all. A restorative sleep was had here.
Good on you Aspy. If anyone around here can decide on a course of action and stick to their guns, it's you mate. I'd love to know more about your programme. The Jones arse is speading at an alarming rate.
I really feel for your sister and of course you Lilly. How helpless you must feel love. What a wicked, wretched disease it is.
Hello little Leon and Mum from Aunty Bridge.
Well done on your 10 days Ronns. You should be feeling the benefits well and trully now.
One more session for this study adventure. Popping lots of assessments in.......promised myself no more study......only to find myself enrolling for another one yesterday........astonishingIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
