A dewy spiders web caught in the early morning sun has to be one of the most beautiful sights in nature.
Did I tell you I have discovered gardening? Jeeze even taped gardeners world last night, that's a first.

George needs to loose the bandana. Just sayin'. It does make him look a tad Brokeback Mountainish.

Pretty much a complete beginner Haps. All I have really done until recently is cutting the grass and hedges and planting a few trees flowers and hedges, most of them survived my clumsy efforts. I do know keeping busy is paramount in my ongoing battle with the bottle.

Dont worry, the locusts disposed of it as soon as we got home....reckoned if he wore it out he'd get harassed at the dog park again...

I can relate to George, reckon he is just in touch with his feminine side, which is a good thing right?

Definitely. Thats why I get so chuffed about the successes, its amazing how much fun it is. And I like eating the food we grow. Got two lasagnes on the go, one has chicken, pesto and spinach, and we grew the stuff for the pesto and the spinach too.

Cool, thanks for the offer. I like informal gardens and I did know what the passion fruit flower was the other days cause I planted one in my old place many years back. Think I need to go and make coffee and my porridge with blueberries now, it 7.30 and I am getting hungry. Thanks for the shared words.

                              Happy Saturday everyone!

Yep, I always know that someone is doing it tougher than me when I get all sorry for myself. Techie!!! Glad you didn't explode on the road, and sorry about you knee. Hope you are doing fine today.

Thanks for all the kindness. Won't bore you with the details but this family bonding/loyalty/forever together concept is totally overracted IMHO. We can't ever seem to get together to have a cup of tea without a drama. And, I admit that I had been a major contributor when I was constantly sauced. That was another life time ago though, and now I just want a peaceful nice life. Doesn't anyone consider manners and grace any more? Or respect for others? Or self-respect?

So, today I've cleaned and sorted and cleaned some more. Didn't sleep much last night so didn't jump out early and into it but I've been productive and will now go and get some food thingies to sustain my existence. Another thing I loathe, having to wonder about what to eat!!!

Have a fabulous evening and thanks for being totally awesome. It was good to tell someone what I thought without causing more trouble. I haven't turned my phone on today at all. I just don't even want to discuss what happened with anyone, or hear another word about it. When I say sorry, it means I've acknowledged that I've been out of order and will attempt to not repeat my error. These scenarios are ongoing in this family and I hate it. So far no apologies but it won't mean anything anyway so no worries. Someone I know will never allow her "peace to be disturbed". Her mother is ailing and now lives in a home and this person has moved up north to live on a mountain near some crystals......well, something like that. Her main priority in life is to be peaceful and serene. I've always thought it is a way of avoiding any form of responsibility. She doesn't work because it is too "painful" to "do" people. A total cop out I say!! Today, I'm not shaving my legs, answering my phone or stressing about why people have so little regard for me that they behave badly and causes me great grief!! What's done is done..... Onwards!!!

Peace, love, respect and happiness to Techie, Lilly, Missy, Happs, Reggie, Rags, Ronnie, Bridge, Sunny and little Leon, Mr G and anyone else who happens to wander by.

AND much spesh peace, love, respect and happiness to Tawny!

Love and pats to precious Olive!

                              As ever, Nicey.
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
