Lilly - hope you can zap that headache. I havent had one for a long time but I used to like rubbing a bit of Tiger Balm onto my temples.

As luck would have it ... the dentist just phoned to remind me I have a 9.30 app. tomorrow which I'd totally forgotten about. The dentist is located near an Aldi so I guess I'll be obliged to go and check things out ...

Moral dilemma, neighbors got more ducks. Said ducks keep getting into our vegie patch. Neighbors kind of contrite but a bit oh well there only ducks....Mr Happs just came in with half a dozen eggs he found around where my broccoli used to be. What do you do?

I will now be working to pay said pans off for the next few hours...before cooking soup and displaying in one of them...I think that cooking with them will be a workout in itself as they are so heavy. Happs, hope you didn't buy one of these VERY expensive pans... the balance is crap.
Once you put stufff in the pan, someohow if you so much as put a finger on the handle the whole thing tips! It is so keenly balanced that it is not designed for you to actually use it for cooking... or anything else...
I keep using it because it cost a bomb. And it has a reasonably heavy base.

Yep, my soup photos look like soup...

And this weekend it is Mr B's boy's birthday so we are going up to see him for that on Friday and bringing him back with us for the first half of the school holidays. So the only thing I am cooking this weekend is birthday cake and whatever he wants for his birthday dinner. And I have told Mr B that he is responsible for cleaning for the next 2 weeks and I will not be picking up after them :-)

Rags - I've heard people in the tourism industry here say that Chinese visitors/tourists are absolutely fascinated by sheep. Sort of like how fascinated I get with critters in other countries. But there are entire businesses in NZ founded on charging tourists extortionate sums to visit run-of-the-mill sheep on run-of-the-mill farms. I think it beggars belief and is vaguely unethical ........

Probably no more unethical than charging tourist lots of yuen to visit the Great Wall . But I take your point... I was looking at touristy things in a Seniors magazine (why am I reading Seniors Magazines !!!!) and they want to charge oldies $8,000 for 5 days in a whirlwind tour of S.A. Which Mr Rags and I could do for about $900.00!!!!

Make duck egg omelettes, and duck L'orange...
Duckshit is good for the veggies but it is so bloody soggy.
And ducks tend to wreck veggie gardens.
