Hi Miss Lovely Sunny,

My Hubbs & I have always wanted to do this too, water conservation. Just don't have a real veggie garden. We talked about this b4 all r tress. Not willing to take them down. I love trees!.... Lots of plants, shrubs, my pots ~ hangers. I do have some tomatoes, peppers now.

When we move some day to the real country side..... oh some day, I will have my veggie garden. I have two little planter boxes with herbs now.

Here is my take on it
I am GLAD I was taken away from my birth mother.
Because of my constant moves as a child, I never meet a stranger. I am comfortable with strangers and speaking in front of a crowd.
I am an awesome, loving mom because I remember the pain of rejection as a child.
I have a wonderful husband that understands my bruised psyche and tries to protect me.
Granted it took me 50 years to get hee...but I am good now...just a wee problem with AL (not diminishing the Beast by ANY means)

I think back how they were taught from their parents to eat everything. The Depression Era. Then us TV, PC, Video Games. No wonder some of us had or have weight issues. Just a couple possible theories, of many.

Good thing many of us grew up & realized we can stop eating when were full, or do it 5 min b4 & see if were still actually hungry. I tried to teach my kids to try a bite of different foods, just so that they could explore their tastes. I never forced them or made them sit all nite at the table. I tried to establish healthy eating habits in them. I mean I'm thankful we had choices in our home. If we hadn't then they could go hungry, but still wouldn't have used those tactics.

My parents were Depression era people too. And I agree that it's borderline child abuse. My dad used to hit me with the wire end of a flyswatter to make me eat. It was all about control. I never forced my step-kids to eat anything they didn't want, however I wouldn't make a separate dinner for them. What I made was what there was for dinner.

That's just terrible!.... You ain't a bug!.... "Shite", makes me mad!....
I always told my kids to try a bite & if they didn't like it they could go make a sandwich or something. Exception my oldest hates Mac ~ N~ Cheese. Threw up on it as a toddler, still hates it today. So, it was easy to just make it with butter & maybe a little chopped ham.

Oh, just wanted to say quick, I read about ur Migraines, I hope you've gotten some relief? Having to wait so long after they cancelled on you. My hubbs gets them to, tho I think there more sinus ones. He saw a Neurologist & was RXD Sumatriptan generic for Imitrex. Also Topamax is used for prevention of them. You probably know this, but thought it was maybe worth a mention.

Hi all-- quick check in-- very hot here and the AC has gone out-- so we will be getting a new one tomorrow while hub and Luke go to the USS Alabama-- expensive little part of the trip! We went dolphin cruising and saw so many and that was so cool, waves are big now and I am watching Luke and Mark boogie board-- that is a prohibited activity due to the head injury ( I actually wish I could do that one). Have not read far back to see how Pappy is?? MB-- do you know where your little sister is now? That is such a sad story! More later--
