    That really killed me about your sister Mama. Alot of it is nurture isn't it? We are about to do our night walk to the pier-- this will make 8 miles today-- that air would be handy now

            Only one odd thing-- the manic cousin is down here ( the paxil one) and there was an incident . The air guys will be here tomorrow so that will be good but the boys will be at the battleship without me.

                Chatting with my niece on messenger. She's at the age where she likes to play little 'tricks' on you. Drives me crazy. Telling me that they couldn't get their tickets. Then telling me she had failed math so couldn't come. Going to have to nip that type of joking in the bud right away. :H:H

                  Gosh Nora - you sound as if you are going to have your hands full! MUCH rather you than me!! Now, much as I hate to say it, I am going to have to go to bed - with only a few hours sleep last night and being out in the garden most of today and having to be up at 5.00, I need to get some sleep!

                      All this talk about having to finish your meals. We have decided that while the kids are here, we will prepare our dinner. If it's something they don't want, they can fix themselves a sandwich or an egg. They don't have to eat what we are having, but they have to fix themselves something else and eat. Otherwise, they won't get the ice-cream or snack later in the evening. We learned that the kids play us a little bit....being finicky. Come to find out that they don't do it that much at home. They'll eat everything. :H Guess they are used to being spoiled her. Oh well, they'll be surprised when they have to fix their own mean.
                      (They're 12 and 9 now. They can do it)

                        Well - it looks like my Uncle is dying. He's been in the hospital with pneumonia. They put him on a ventilator on Friday. The family is getting together tomorrow to decide how to proceed. The doctors are thinking that the cancer has come back. He had most of his lung removed years ago.

                        On the other side of my family.....The funeral for my Cousin's husband is on Saturday. It is a burial at sea.

                        Life is short! I want have a life filled with love & happiness. No room for anger & hard feelings.

                          Sorry for your awful pain Nora, lifes a bitch at times. I drank at the weekend but hopefully back on track now. Reading Jason Vales book at the moment, a very practical straightforward book that really does make sense. Looking forward to having my little grandson to stay for 2 days, so I woudn't dare take a drink with him around. Have a good day everyone.

                              Nora - sorry to hear about your uncle ... very sad..... and the cousins husband - a burial at sea? they still do those? i didn't know.....

                              No, I haven't heard from Michael - I imagine the first day was both a let down and totally draining - probably a lot of just talk and go slow - is it on the web anywhere does anyone know?
